But mincing and Old Queens are definitely not gay friendly comments, especially when used together. :( They aren't and I don't want to belittle it but not knowing him it's hard to know what he meant. There were plenty of times that Freddie would say something like "we're not bad are we for 4 aging queens..." He would call them queens all the time. And as for mincing he might have simply meant that an American reality star was mincing with the old queens instead of Freddie mincing. He might have been referencing previous Queen gigs he'd been too. I don't KNOW that for sure, but it is possible..

Excellent show. Adam has appeared to get over his hiccups and has settled in quite nicely. An occasional run or two much for me still to be honest but I'm not going to be nitpicky. A fun fun show Hoping for more surprises. I wonder if they were saving his voice for the next few days by cutting The Show Must Go On and letting Brian do it. Thank you, talon. I really do appreciate your comments. I know you are a major Queen fan, as I am. But, I am a bigger Adam fan, so what you have to say means a lot to me, also. Good on you!! Just have to SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! tho!!! LOL!!! Acceptance is major to me.

I remember you noted in your comments about the Kiev show that Adam was very good but not a home run. The most problematic song was TSMGO as he was uncharacteristically under pitch maybe due to sound issues. I noticed it also in Poland though not as obvious. I also thought he sounded a bit strained. Have to go back and listen to Moscow but it didn't strike me the same way. He was of course still great and he is quick to fix and compensate but I think with another show tomorrow night, if it was an intentional move to rest him, it was a good call. I really liked it in that intimate moment of Roger and the fans and if it has special meaning for them, it was the right thing to do.

A fun fun show Hoping for more surprises. I wonder if they were saving his voice for the next few days by cutting The Show Must Go On and letting Brian do it. Agreed. It felt that Adam is now comfortable with the songs, and comfortable with the stage. He is not "trying" as hard, he is just doing. Vocally that comes out as that pure ringing tone throughout even the most hard rock songs, with little to no forcing or pushing his voice (that I could tell from the ustream. Can't wait for good vids.) The good thing about that is, despite the arduous nature of these songs, and the length of the concert, he is not straining his voice at all. He is in control of it the whole time. I missed TSMGO, but it was touching to have Brian and the audience sing it. As for the runs, he has cut back on them, hasn't he? I thought he sang most of the songs without embellishment. I am eager to hear what the Queen fans have to say, but it appeared that they embraced them.
