It does matter to some people - some of the main objections is to calling it Queen & Adam Lambert because Queen suggests the four of them. If it was to be Brian May & Roger Taylor of Queen with Adam Lambert or a totally new name, some of the objections WOULD fly out the window. To me though I disagree. I think by calling it Queen + Adam Lambert it IS a new band. It's Queen + Adam Lambert. Even I who doesn't really think of it as Queen anymore...still thinks it would be dumb to call it anyone else since it's 2/4 of the original lineup, 1 member whose toured with them since 1984 (Spike Edney) AND the Queen catalogue...what else do you call it? Again though merely touching on some reasoning. I was never overly upset about it And it wouldn't keep me from watching or going if it came to the US. I understand it matters to some. I would assume that QPR days saw the same exact argument, and B&R just carry on as Queen in their own minds...as I said - a matter of definition. Re coming to the US - I am thinking that as long as the Extravaganza is touring here there will be no Queenbert on our shores. I have no idea how long they are scheduled for. May be they would go to some other continent and at that time Queenbert can do a couple of concerts in the US. I just googled the Extravaganza and IT IS OVER!!!!! FINISHED THE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D ;D I am thinking mid to late fall would be a great time for Queenbert concerts!!!!!

cwm122 @cwm122 On the floor, great view, surrounded by cautiously excited queen fans. They have no idea what's about to hit them!

I understand it matters to some. I would assume that QPR days saw the same exact argument, and B&R just carry on as Queen in their own minds...as I said - a matter of definition. Yup. Same argument :D As mentioned the tour did come to an end on July 3rd (and it was a GREAT show). However, there have been talks about further dates. *shrug* I'm not sure. When did Queen last play in London? As a pure Queen full out gig it would be in November 2008. They did a few one off one or two song bits with various We Will Rock You Casts, and in 2010 did the Prince's Trust for about 5 songs (including a WONDERFUL version of It's A Hard Life with Tom Chaplin of Keane on vocals (who for whatever reason didn't get any of the flack that Paul Rodgers or Adam got)
