Yeah, Nigel, go get him! By the way, guys, you realize that the purpose of idol (besides providing TV entertainment, of course) is to develop and find the best new talent for Interscope. Adam is signed to RCA. Just saying. Nigel is clearly in Adam's camp, but I can see why they have been talking for at least a month. There is probably lots to talk about. Actually, the purpose of Idol, the TV show, is to make money for their advertisers. That's why the show is "cast." If tey were just looking for the best singer, they'd cast the best singers. And if you watch from auditions until they pick the Top 24, it is obvious that is not true. Nigel has even said, his job is to produce a great TV show and what happens afterwards, doesn't concern him. A lot of people have brought up Interscope in thinking that Adam doesn't have a chance of being hired. I don't think Interscope will have anything to do with who Mike Darnell (FOX) and the producers want. It's all about ratings and money for their advertisers. |
