Back to reality and no radio play It's like we've been a magical other-worldly bubble for the past couple of weeks. Surreal. Even with all the flailing, I think we are yet to fully grasp the immensity of it in the postqueenbert era.

Review: Queen & Adam Lambert – Hammersmith Apollo, London – 11th July 2012. When Adam Lambert performed with Brian May and Roger Taylor at the MTV EMAs a few months back, there was something special about their performance…something a little Freddie about the vibe that was going on and it was echoed around the world that Adam should perform with Queen properly; and now here we are in the band’s hometown with the American Idol runner up in tow to do Freddie proud. Say what you will about Adam Lambert, but credit where credit’s due, he did a phenomenal job on the first of three sold out nights at the Hammersmith Apollo. ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’ was breathtaking to say the least; Adam did a fantastic job at nailing those vocals to make this one of the highlights of the evening.
A particularly nice touch to the evening involved a special thank you directed to Adam Lambert from Brian and Roger for “making this night happen”; it was a night full of admiration for each other and that was a touching thing to see.indulge-sound.com/2012/07/12/review-queen-adam-lambert-hammersmith-apollo-london-11th-july-2012/ This is a nice review despite the "whatever you may think" line. Be sure to click as there is quite a bit more than what's quoted here.

I always wanted to hear Adam singing that phrase from "Don't Stop Me Now" - "I'am a sex machine ready to reload". I think it's strangely appropriate

Saturday's show IS going to be completely over the top. My secret hope is the Bowie shows up but there might be other legends who will be at the show and could join the stage at some point.
Have to say thank heavens Sonisphere was cancelled. There's nothing to compare with seeing Rock Gods like Queen in such a small theater. The sounds is so immense and enveloping and it's such a small intimate setting. The opportunity just blows my mind. And there's still one more concert to go! Will life ever be the same?
