I didn't realize until I saw that write-up that Simon Fuller was coming back on board with Idol. Then when he showed up tonight, I let myself think for the first time - maybe this can happen! Simon Fuller never left Idol. He's always been the top man and still is. Then why did that article say they were going to re-team with Simon Fuller, the original creator of Idol? Not arguing - just confused.

Even over the stream, Adam sang like a man with, oh, a zillion dollar contract for a weekly half-zillion person global viewing audience "falling in love for the first time" every time waiting for him to sign. Simon Fuller sitting in the audience on the night Tyler announces exit just to go back stage and say, hey, great show, sorry we didn't offer you the judging gig is not a likely scenario. Knocking wood, of course. But the full circle of AI finale to Adam on stage fronting Queen while Fuller in the audience was lovely. If people keep bringing this all back to some AI desk job I am gonna seriously BUST something. It's an epic day of Adam SINGING music!!!!!!!!!! can we focus on that pretty please ...

I have been thinking about the possibility of the Adam as idol judge a lot. I'm trying to keep my expectations in check though--but Tyler leaving, Fuller being in the audience during the EPIC concert. This might just happen. Nigel and Simon already enlisted a 2nd place finisher as contributor/judge on So You Think You Can Dance. Travis Wall is only 24, but has become one of their most talented choreographers, and is a young, fresh, and charming judge. His choreography has garnered an Emmy nomination for the show also. Nigel is constantly praising Travis and exclaiming how proud he is that he is a SYTYCD alum.

Now that we know Steven is leaving, he'll probably stay, right? They wouldn't replace all three judges at once, would they? My guess is that JLo will stay and is just holding out for more money. My thoughts too, mys*&@^#r IDOL would do anything to keep her...she's still a better choice for the only female judge on the panel than the other two names floating around (Fergie & Mariah). Randy is useless (sorry, but there's no other way to say it), with X-Factor coming back with a new panel of young & hip, the pressure to keep up being relevant and engaging, I'm afraid Randy's presence just does NOT fit in the new dynamic, if that's what IDO chose to go for. I think Adam's got a shot but I'm not holding my breath, Although he's definitely made his intention known (frankly, I'm a little surprised by that...I mean, it's not good for the negotiation and Adam does have a good business sense.) In any case, I'll be ecstatic if I could watch Adam twice a week on my big screen for several months a year! (I know, very entitled and selfish of me! )

Sounds good. Though did like that SkyNews anchor who said he called him Lord Brian of May. BTW, in Guitar World's Poll of Greatest Guitarists of all times, Sir Dr. Bri defeated the legendary Jeff Beck who graced the audience tonight. Possibly some experienced polling participates read some tweets and added to the clicking. Though next up, the good Doctor is battling George Harrison. Probably a little harder. Though, tonight Brian showed again that he is one seriously remarkable talent. He sure can play.

Adam Lambert Belgium @adamlambertbe Funniest moment on stage tonight?? Adam ripping his leather pants bc he jumped off stage and Adam making fun of it )) I'm still thinking Adam maybe leaned to far over and then he just went with it. 8-) But I know nothing! Seeing the video, I think he split his pants off when he climbed back up to the stage. :-/

Wandered to the Queen site, and the tone has def changed One of the comments: Based on the videos I've seen AL does a admirable job. He got good stage presence (vastly improved from Kiev) and his voice is pretty damn impressive. I don't agree with those who say that the guys from WWRY could do as good a job. I tuned into the Voice to see Tony Vincent and he's almost a caricature as a performer and his voice, while decent, doesn't have the character necessary to bring these songs truly to life. They all certainly seem to be having a grand time, which in turn makes the audience enjoy the show more. I have no doubt that seeing this live is a much different and more more enjoyable experience than sitting behind a computer screen watching the youtubes. The girl who did the videos was really impressive. Great quality sound and picture. Must have an expensive camera.

I'm pretty sure that Sauli is wearing Adam's blue cheetah shirt. Either that or he bought one of his own in the kid's department. Pretty sweet his sisters came in for the show.
