I just say on another site what Adam meant when he sang "Rusty Umbrella" at the ending credits on the DVD - I cannot believe how naive I am - thinking he really meant his umbrella.....  |

Thanks lindy I dont watch the show so i didnt know this.. I watch the show and I STILL think Adam was referring to his jet-setting life-style (airport not the male Heather). I think he was just being amusing. (and wasn't the winner spoiled ages ago?  ) could be, never know with Adam and his mysterious tweets, I think there was a rumor about Raja winning on twitter, but nothing definite..would spoil the show if we really knew |

[laugh] My answer to DVDs bought: 1 from AO 'cause I wanted the T-shirt - THAT CD stays in my car where its safe. 1 from Amazon for the house. (I don't use I-tunes) I SHOULD buy at least one more from Amazon or wherever for when my DH does his usual (*&(@&#$ thing when he takes CD's/DVDs out of the player and stuffs them in random jewel cases. They are only ever recovered every 6 months or so once I pitch a massive hissy fit and force him to open up EVERY jewel case in the entire house and put all the damn music/movies back where they belong. I blistered his ear off last week because my FYE has gone missing. There's an season of "Fraggle Rock" in its jewel case. >:( ;D ;D ;D Hoppers: My husband does EXACTLY THE SAME THING, and I can't convince him to stop! I freaked out the other day because I couldn't find AL!, hunted all over for it, the car, etc, until I finally found it hidden in a Willie Nelson case : (PS--but I forgave him because maybe it means he listens to the thing on the sly when I'm not there ) |

On RuPaul Drag race, Raja and a few of his drag queen friends refer to themselves as Heather or the Heathers..Why, I don't know or remember..I guess Adam wanted to be called the male Heather that's why he answered the tweet like that..I love this show, so entertaining...and I really hope Raja wins...or has won from what i can remember of the movie, a couple of rebellious students killed off the popular kids, the heathers, one by one. or maybe it was themselves that they called the heathers. can't remember. anyway it was a popular movie, in the mid 80's i think. edit: "Heathers" www.imdb.com/title/tt0097493/Heathers is one of my favorite movies ever. It's got Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. Winona plays a girl who is in with the main clique of girls, all named Heather and Christian's character moves to town. Wi and Christian's character "accidently" kill the main Heather by posioning her (I say accidently because he does it intentionally whereas she was just trying to make her puke) and then stage it as a suicide... the girl is turned into a martyr of the school and even people whom she had tortured proclaimed her a saint. Then they basically do the same to the two jocks, staging it to look like they kill themselves in a gay suicide pact because they can't be together. That is where the line "I love my dead gay son" comes from. It's very dark comedy and if you haven't seen it watch it. It's funny as hell. Raja and his group call themselves Heathers because they see themselves as smarter and prettier than the other girls in the competition. I think it started as a joke and it caught on. |
