Has everyone died from exhaustion? No tweets, a few videos. I think everyone has finally passed out from the overload and lack of sleep. No :D The videos are coming nicely, I'm silently enjoying each and every one of them. Thanks for bringing them over, everyone!

Elizabeth Matthew @politicsislife
Felt like we were conducting an Adam Lambert 101 college class. It was fun to meet so many Queen fans and exchange back in the day stories

ETA: It's an interesting mental exercise to think about how well Queen would do if they were just starting out today and trying to get radio play in an era of Britney, JLo, Chris Brown, etc. Would their genius be recognized? It was hard enough for them back in the 70s. We don't even have to go by today's standard of "popular" to evaluate former solo singers pop success. Freddie Mercury chose to do a POP album as soon as he left Queen and had no single chart #1 during his life from that album. One single made it to #11. Living On My Own reached a whopping #50 when the album was released and got remixed and re-entered the charts two years after his death and made #1. This is all in the UK, NOTHING he released even charted in the US at all. So yes, Adam is competing for radio air with the likes of Beiber, RiRi, and now boy bands and nothing his fans can say will change what radio chooses to pimp. just got here..sorry i'm so far behind..but, did you say Freddie left Queen? when? why?
