7.14.12 TSMGO, For One Final Evening

What a wonderful and perfect two weeks these Queen and Adam concerts have been! Not without a hitch, but perfect nonetheless. A really magical time. This whole tour has been such a high! I'm very proud of Adam. He did everything he said he wanted to do in bringing the songs to life and honoring and respecting the band. I felt I was observing a course in the power of intention. I'm proud of the way he slayed vocally every night, and the way he impressed and won over the crowds, and led the crowds. He was masterful on stage. I always notice this moment near the beginning of the concert in Kiev when I think I see him swallow hard or gulp air, and that's one of my proudest moments because I think how nervous he must have been but he's powering through and generally appearing confident and doesn't allow the audience to sense any blood in the water. I think of it as a gift to the audience, too, so they can relax from the start and feel that the songs are in good hands, and simply enjoy the music.

I'm happy about the relationship Adam's formed with Brian and Roger, and that I also got to know them and their music a little better. Just happy that Adam really loved this whole experience and got so much joy from it.
