I don't want to repeat everybody's thanks (although I feel very grateful), so as not to bore everyone to death , so I'll go straight to the impossible task of choosing my highlight of the Queenbert experience. I can't choose just one, but I must say seeing the very first show was just WOW: everything was new! We didn't know what to expect. I watched the live stream with my mouth open. Every new song was a surprise. And then, Roger and Adam's Duet made me so happy! When the camera from the back showed their arms around each other, I started laughing out of sheer joy. And right afterwards Adam sang that amazing unbelievable 11 seconds "whyyyyyyyyy", from which I am yet to recover. And Brian was smiling to himself. This Brian, while doing his thing, doesn't miss anything that's happening on the stage, IMO. Anyway, here it is: I could watch this a million times and never get sick of it.....(dusting with left hand, scrolling with right).

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for having this Queen fan around for the last few weeks It was quite an experience. Overall impressions: I was cautiously optimistic when I first heard of the tour having known and liked Adam's voice while not being sure if it would work. Kiev came and there were some hiccups but overall was pleased and again stayed cautiously optimistic that the shows would improve. In some ways I had perhaps some disappointment in the rockier numbers (WWRY fast, KYA, FBG) but in other ways he blew away my expectations (in the ballads like WWTLF, TSMGO (after Kiev:P), WATC) and yet in other ways my expectations were right on the money (the poppier & funkier side like AOBTD, Dragon Attack, Break Free) The shows did get better with time and by the end I find that it was a great experience overall. Adam did well, and more importantly to me - Brian and Roger not only did well but really appeared to have an absolute blast like i haven't seen them have in a long time. (the first couple of PR gigs were fun for them as well...but they really seemed to cut loose here). That fun was infectious. And despite some OTT fans on both sides, it was great to see two fandoms come together and enjoy the music I wish Adam the best of luck in the future and I'll stick around during the afterglow although probably not as large a presence.....and hopefully I'll get a chance to come back around more full time during the US tour I'll still try to come around and check the Queen thread or if people wanted to PM me...but I don't see myself getting caught up in the Adam news threads too often (...I probably will read them now and again though )

I loved everything about the last two weeks. The whole experience was transcendent and so much more than I ever imagined. Truly the only thing like it, ever in my life, was when my sports team won the national championship. I picked out three highlights out of zillions. 1. Watching the Kiev show live in its entirety. Videos are amazing, but when I realized that I would be able to watch the Kiev show, live with professional pictures and sound, I was glued to the computer for hours. My back paid the price for days! I was able to share this experience with my Glambert sister. The concert started off as great renditions of Queen's oldies ... but by the time of Who Wants to Live Forever a sparking swirl of magic began that lasted through last night. Something old was not being recreated. Something new was being created. Something truly wonderful and pure. I'll always remember. 2. The Dragon Attack coat. Let's face it -- Adam has taken dead aim at Top 40 here, lost his bet (so far) and paid a price in trying to tame down his own fierceness and fabulosity. He's tried to make himself more like everyone else, less like Adam. The Dragon Attack coat was a statement of incredible awesomeness. There is no man living who could have pulled that off, that way, or even would have wanted to. It was not the coat on the outside, but what it said about the man on the inside -- the blazing individuality that is ADAM was on display for the world to see!! 3. The moment Brian laid his head on Adam's shoulder. The magic was not just for Adam to discover his power or for the fans to experience the full range and breadth of his capabilities. It was the reconnection of Brian and Roger to their own greatness. I LOVE those two guys. I never really knew Queen before. Their music is so much more than I ever realized, their kindness and great heartedness something truly special. Adam is so much more, and Queen so much more, than even I realized. The future is limitless.

At #29 and no mention of NCOE of yet so it's definitely charting a lot better than FYE Hope it's still in the top 20 at least! Is Capital still playing the song?
