This is a must read. She describes everything so vividly. This part made me LOL!!! Adam is musically something special and this is as good a description as any... That being said, I have no favorites. The entire setlist was perfect as a whole. Adam was flawless, every phrase / every snap, clap, and spin was somehow both precise and natural, totally mesmerizing. He was ON! He tossed his head and stomped his feet on the beat. For each and every bar, Adam was the song. I’ll try to explain it. Somehow when Adam opens his mouth, you realize that his face is like the bell of an instrument, that the sound coming out resonates from deep inside the core of his body. I think he covers himself head to toe in clothing to hide the fact that his torso is covered with valves and keys or strings or something. Adam was tailor-made to be a vessel of sound, an organic mechanism of music. I can’t . . ETA: I see mys*&@^#r already quoted the same section earlier.  |

Only old movie fans will get this, BUT PH reminds me of Waldo Lydecker, the deadly nasty, self-absorbed newspaper columnist (played perfectly by Clifton Webb) in the movie LAURA. Basically, I think the problem PH has with Adam can be summed up in two words: penis envy. What a great analogy! I can just see Clifton Webb's face now...total penis envy! |

Listening to CLYG in full for the first time in what must be nearing 2 years. How does he not explode towards the end?! I'm having a hard time singing along in Bee-Gee's falsetto but he's doing it in full voice! AFL!! ^^^^^^^^THIS!^^^^^^^^ Who the fuck can sing LYRICS in full voice at that range??? |
