For the first time ever, jetlag took control of my body. This does not usually happen when I visit my family in the UK. This means I am late with my flailing over the most wonderful experience of a Queen with Adam Lambert concert. Thank you to all the wonderful Atoppers I met at LaLa's. Thanks also to my wonderful traveling partner Atop's Stamsgal. We had the greatest of adventures and many, many stairs as we traveled around London. So many memories and a picture taken by Brian May's guitar tech of us standing in the balcony to cheer on our own special person on the stage. I will never forget this ever!! it was lovely meeting Lyndsey Parker at Harrods, meeting a lovely girl, Yumi from Japan and so many others.
What a wonderful week, brought about by this concert. Hope they bring it to North America, that others can experience this magic.
Hope all traveling to the Cali shows this weekend have as much fun as I did. Please cheer for all of us unable to go, especially at FS, a concert I will never forget :D

OK, crazy person that I am, I just counted the seats left at CM. There are approx. 2800 seats left out of 8500. It's not what happened in 2010, but it is more than a respectable turnout. Especially with another show 2 hours away in 2 days. And when it is not part of a tour that is being promoted and the headliner is living in another country for the 2 months before the show. |

Can't leave without saying HI VIVLITE!! ETA: HEY! You wanna fly to Sac for a concert Friday night?  I'm sure it'll be fun! It's just the getting ready (for so many things at once) that's the trouble--but I'M NOT COMPLAINING! When I think where I was a year and a half ago, I feel very, very fortunate these days. Adam (and you guys) have seen me through some tough times, but should be better after August.  At some point, I really wanna play in the MoonGarden thread, wherever it is! Watched a minute of that vid you posted and loved it. Okay, now I really have to stop procrastinating. |

And the show is starting at 7:45, which is early, especially for a weekday. Very difficult for peeps from LA to get down to the OC during rush hour. In 2010, Adam didn't hit the stage until 9:00-9:30. And finally, the tix are more expensive this year -- $39.50-59.50, compared to $20.00-50.00 in 2010. There, now that all of the rationalizations have been listed, I'm feeling much better! ;D Seriously, I do agree that all things considered, tix sales for this concert are pretty good. (Thanks, mys*&@^#r, for doing the ticket count. I was going to do it tomorrow am, but so glad you've saved me the trouble! ) |
