oh my god chapf I love his little bendy legs. So true to life ;D . That has to be one of my favorite Queenbert memories: watching Adam's long thin legs do crazy things on the blurry little livestream screens during Dragon Attack. Somehow they looked particularly fantastic there--just two long black noodles with lives of their own! Thanks for pointing out the bendy legs. At first I had no idea what you were talking about because I use a black background so I looked really close and there they were!!!! So cute.

Today, Ryan Seacrest revealed on his morning show that Adam Lambert will guest star and perform two songs on a spooky All Hallows Eve PLL. The ABC Family show is gearing up for a mid-season summer finale in August, and will resume for the holiday episode in October before picking up again to finish off the season in the winter. Meanwhile, Adam is patiently waiting for Fox executives to make an offer to become a judge on American Idol. Last week, both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler announced they won't be returning, and the former Idol star threw his name in the hat. more

perceived fan age is a big deal, especially to radio stations who are targeting younger listeners. When they hold a contest to M&G with Adam and 90% of the responses are people outside their demographics it doesn't exactly encourage them to continue playing Adam. Non-organic buying campaigns don't really make a big impact saleswise but the perception that Adam needs the false padding to make it appear that he's more popular/successful than he is is counter-productive IMO and people brag about buying and buying and buying and buying. Outside the bubble no one might notice but non-bubble news organizations pick up anything and everything about Adam and all it would take is one of the idol bloggers to do a piece on the fan push to buy multiples and it could effectively sour all that Adam has accomplished and be labeled false success. I agree a fan is a fan and money is money but age and buying campaigns have turned other AI alum into industry jokes and those people now have zero credibility and zero presense on radio and I'd hate for Adam to end up that way too. for example: I think if the same fans wouldn't always go for the M&G passes new fans would get them and then we'd have a better idea of what Adam's fanbase is comprised of. As it stands, it's the same core group of fans who have the means and the times to travel to wherever he is so it makes it appear that they are the only fans who are interested since they are the only ones who keep showing up. All of this is of course just my opinion and not intended to try to make anyone feel they are doing something wrong. I personally don't multiple buy anyone's CD nor do I enter contests to win M&Gs since I've met him once already and I'd hate to take someone else's opportunity away from them. These buying campaigns happens in almost every fanbase I'm a long time Kelly Clarkson fan and I've never seen anything remotely close to it in her fanbase ??? Again, to each their own. I'm just expressing my opinion on the subject.

I realize that you were referring to tweeting/texting and I wasn't the person who turned it into a licked, stamped and mailed thank you note with unicorn stickers and hearts drawn on it LOL. Tweeting OMG Adam Lambert I love this song thanks for playing isn't a bad idea but again, I don't think teens do that mainly because I don't think teens actually listen to the radio that much anymore so, who listens and why is it so necessary then? i'm getting so confused by all this. radio ca-ca. that is a good question...who does listen to radio??? I've seen plenty of people right here say they never listen to the radio (at least not top 40) but it's been drilled into our heads about demographics of radio and whatever and why it's important for radio to know Adam has younger fans......yet from my interactions with teenagers (and I'm around them thru my job) they don't really listen to the radio much. I see them with their earbuds in hooked up to their iphones playing the music they've downloaded. Again, the point I was making was sending thank yous to radio for playing a song seems odd and out of place.

Bieber, Selena, and Demi fans all have buying campaigns. Kelly's fans had HUGE buying campaigns for her first two or three albums. I don't follow her closely anymore, but I know for a fact that the troops must have received thousands of Kelly albums in the past. ;D Clay Aiken fans do the same, or at least they did buy massively back in the day - don't know about now. This is not a new phenomenon. 8-)
