[/IMG]
The band was amazing. The sound tonight was incredible. The instruments were not too loud. The best I've heard in a long time. Perfect! Adam was so confident and in control of the night. His voice was perfect! The band was so tight. The audience was loud and crazy, singing, jumping, just wonderful! The joy they all in performing was palpable. Beautiful!! I will recap more tomorrow cuz I was in the same freeway mess Adam was in and am exhausted.
Glad you had fun Mys*&@^#r thanks for sharing.

JMO, he doesn't want to ruin the lines of his outfit..... Exactly. I really don't think his body image is as screwed up as people like to make. He's gone sleeveless plenty of times on stage. I think he just really loves his jacket! Oh, and I guess I'm lucky in that as much as I enjoyed Adam with Queen, I'm 100x more invested in Adam's own career and Trespassing. Tommy isn't Brian May...whatever. I'm not even a big fan of the band but feel sorry that now they'll forever be picked apart for not being as good as Queen. Oy. I know, right? There is no comparison. Two completely different deals. I look at the Queen adventure as Adam going off and doing his stage thing. He embraced a role, did it well, and now is back in real life. I'm glad to hear he felt the experience was energizing. How cool is it that he made lifelong friends Brian and Roger?! Their experience and mentorship will only be a benefit.

I always find it funny (funny odd, not funny haha) that first comments from videos are "WOW" & then the critiques start: sounds tired, less energy, band too loud, backup singers bad, poor body image, etc. And these are fans. Imagine what the non-fans are saying.
All I know is that the comments from ppl WHO WERE THERE is that he was fabulous. And his dancing on the vids I saw didn't look "tired" to me. But that's just MO of course. We all have 'em.

Apparently, Adam is a constant disappointment to some fans for all the reasons you state. I've realized that after 3+ years of fandom, I've finally reached my end. I think when everything people say starts to annoy you (me), it's time to step away. lol. I'll just concentrate on Adam and ignore commentary from now on.

His dancing , his singing, his banter between the songs AMAZING, funny the whole time, he was ON FIRE loved it!
