What a bittersweet night! One I will treasure for many years! I took one of my dearest friend who has been ill for the last year and a half, my darling sister from Manila, my brother and my son who flew in from Texas. Except for my son, the rest have never seen Adam live. My friend had chemotherapy in the afternoon so I was concerned if she was well enough to come. She insisted and would not let her illness get in the way of seeing Adam. She has loved him since Idol but has not followed him closely. My sister knew very little about him. My brother is a huge Queen fan and wanted to check out this kid who sang with Queen. My son loves Adam so I knew he would have a great time. As soon as Adam appeared, I was shocked to see all of them get up on their feet and having a great time. I was very worried about my friend but she said she couldn't help but dance. She only sat down when he started singing WWFM and told me that she loves that song. My sister took a lot of videos so she can show them to her friends back in Manila. At the end of the concert, my friend gave me a big hug and thanked me for a wonderful evening. I was so happy I could give her some joy. She told us earlier in the day that today, her oncologist only gave her about a year. But she is a very brave woman and I hope I will have another opportunity to take her to another concert. My brother also had a great time and was duly impressed. His only criticism was that it was too short and he was left wanting more! This really made me very happy as he is hard to impress! My son danced his ass off! Sorry for the long post but I am one very happy girl right now! Thank you dear mayumi for opening up my eyes to see what is valuable in a human life. I've just realized that my problem is ridiculous in comparison with your friend's struggle. You're a wonderful person for taking her with you. Although, the prognoses aren't good, I wish your ill friend the best. I believe Mr.Lambert helped her to forget all the suffering for a while. I'm sending her positive energy and keeping her in my prayers. Thank you one more time for posting this

Ok those back up singers have got to stop ruining Naked Love. ARGH. Every damn time their harmonies (well actually is just one of them) are sharp - and not in a good way! Interested if others hear it or am I imagining things?

Oh I overslept the concert  , but the guilt is slowly seeping away since it seems the stream was bad. So, Suz has uploaded everything except Cuckoo for now, right? But that one video by Tinafea , PTL, is SO GREAT, better than Suz', do we have more videos from her, is she going to upload more? Thank you, Tinafea!
The highlights for me are:
2. Pop That Lock!!! Omg, it sounds and feels amazing live! The Smooth Criminal finale is beyond fantastic, idk if I have to thank Brian London for that, but if I do, I say THANK YOU , BRIAN!!!!!!
3. The banter before NCOE! All the things he said, plus the way he said them, plus the way he looked while saying them add up to a perfect equation = happy Adam, happy me!
4. Barefoot Adam on a Trespassing rug - it seems like a statement of a kind - maybe he's inviting us to his abode, welcoming the guests to enjoy his artistic revelation. Dancing in Adam's lounge, what a joy!
1. THE RETURN OF THE JEDI: HE'S BACK! I love that he's back home doing his thing! If it was possible, I'd say I'd fallen even more in love with his songs after the concert. Aren't they beautiful? They are current, fresh, meaningful, captivating, exciting, and just plain awesome!
His sex appeal is more subtle now; instead of GNT mic sucking, there is a gentle mic stand stroke here, an elegant hip thrust there, and it's so much hotter that way, these sexy innuendos really spicing up the show without turning it into porn.
How wonderful it is that he can put on a great show without the bombast of fire works, no frills, no smoke and mirrors, just his phenomenal music and fabulous self.
The jacket's awesome, but I also loved his pants! Some expensive fabric there, soft and elegant, and he's turned into this high-class, high-quality performer, he is top notch, he is the best of the best, he appeals to my brain as much as to my body, to my intelligence as much as to my libido and that's the secret of his mojo and hopefully to his world wide success.
Unfortunately, having the brains and functioning libido are prerequisites for Adam consumation, so I guess it leaves some people out of the equation, lol, but too bad for them! They can have their Biebers and Demis and whowhatnots...
ETA Thank you, Mayumi for your words! Can't one just tell so much about Adam himself from the kind of audience he has; such beautiful, wonderful, intelligent people! All that splendour coming from the top, no wonder his fans are golden :D

You are so kind to do this for her and I know the memories will be with her during her treatment. Hope she gets to see many more shows.

Great concert So many fun moments ;D It was good to hear Adam singing his own songs again. But I must say I miss someone. I miss Brian May. Don't get me wrong, I don't have nothing against Tommy but to me he is eh just boring right now. It will take some time for me to forget

It is great to hear A singing his own music again... I do miss the sheer biggness of the sound from Queen shows and they have pretty much same number of musicians on stage plus back up singers so no reason they couldn't beef it up as appropriate. Of course music style is quite different but I also miss Dr Bri weaving his guitar magic - not so much the rock bits but the way he would weave it to the melody really bought the music to life.

But super fabulous equipment costs money- it's one thing to stage a show when you have more money than God and yet another to do it on a budget.
