If Adam is not going to be an Idol judge, fine, the buzz was great. But Nigel Lythgoe's tweet was absurd and offensive. There is no such thing as personal Twitter. Unless you lock your account. Twitter is a microblog service. Every tweet is a 140 character blog. It's 100% public. If you're famous, and you're on Twitter it is not personal, it's PR. Fans tweeting public figures is not just 100% okay, it's encouraged. Idol tries to get things trending with every show. It doesn't matter what the fans said, fans are the audience. Nigel should be embracing them. Tweeting Nigel about the show is exactly the same as writing a letter was back in the day. Or flooding the switchboard. (Gee, remember the AMA phone call deluge...the trickle heard round the world.) So if thousands of Adam's million and half followers tweeted their opinion to the producer of a show that actually encourages audience voting, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. And Nigel is, IMHO, an idiot. Dissing Adam's fans for doing a fine thing and getting involved with and caring about the future of Idol is not a way to increase viewership. I am not sure what Nigel is complaining about -- he was not getting tons of Tweets about Adam being a judge on Idol. ETA: I did not look back far enough at his Twitter feed -- he got a ton of Tweets in an organized #AdamOnIdol campaign about 4 hours ago. Even after his provocative tweet, his feed is pretty slow. But, JMHO, tweets like this do no one any good: Cynthia Blocker @cjblfn @dizzyfeet I'm not impressed with you insulting AI fans. Guess that makes us even, huh? At least this one wasn't directed to him: Lynda B @xxbandgroupiexx Is it just me, or is @dizzyfeet kindof a dick?

Nigel Lythgoe @dizzyfeet There are many names being discussed for IDOL judges. There is a team discussing this issue, not just me. I ask all fans to be sensible.

The AVI issue is not on this site but occurring somewhere else.
I believe the AVI issue might be an Image Shack problem -- the three AVIs that were vanishing are all on Image Shack. If yours is vanishing and you are not host on Image Shack can you let me know via PM. Thanks!

Quick update - the d/l is taking quite a bit longer than I thought. I had hoped to upload tonight, but I'm doubtful it's going to happen and I'm quite busy tomorrow...it MIGHT have to wait til Monday :( I will do my best to get it up as quick as possible
Oh and if you didn't read the last thread - I'm getting Day 2 of Hammersmith in FLAC format...

I'm so sick of seeing Adam fans scolded for their enthusiasm. If Nigel doesn't want to hear from the public, he should get the hell off Twitter.
I'm glad that AdisaM clarified that the video of Brian's daughter singing was from when she was five or six. I know his children are all adults now and when I heard the video, I thought, Eeek! If that's a grown woman singing, it's just plain creepy! Little girl singing is cute.
