Just read thru your posts in the news thread, mys*&@^#r, yea, I see what you mean---this Fall is surely shaping up to become a "diva mud fight", LOL! IMO, in all honesty though, RCA is NOT gonna have a full-on relaunch of TSP, there will be new singles as indicated by Adam himself many occasions already (most recently at Fantasy Springs), and based on the fact of him singing "Trespassing" & "Cuckoo" on "PLL", I'm guessing the new single probably comes out in Sept./early Oct., or I wish. Regardless what's gonna happen with this Idol judging gig, RCA needs to put some serious $$$ into the new single this time around, I mean they really haven't spent much on the first 2 singles at all (from what I can see), and it's not like KE$HA, P!ink or Christina needs promo $$$ to get on the radio. Yes, the Idol exposure won't hurt either but, doesn't the show air like in Dec. or something? (I don't know much about Idol at all.) RCA needs to go balls-out on the new single, period! One more thing, apparently, he's going to promote NCOE while in Oz and Japan, why??? That song hasn't been embraced by the radio, nor picked up by the masses in either country, organically at all! I'm afraid they gonna just play it while he's there then so long after he's gone. I hope I'm wrong cuz otherwise, it would be such a waste of time and effort. If I was the Queen of RCA, Pop that Lock for Japan and Shady for Oz! 8-) |

maddie, I was very disapppointed when I read they were reservicing NCOE to OZ radio. I thought the same thing you did... why?
Maybe they will treat it like they did NCOE in the UK, reintroduce Adam, then release Cuckoo or Trespassing in Sept. Like you said, KESHA, PINK, and CHRISTINA certainly don't need big promo money spent on them! Just heard a 40 second clip of KESHA's new singe and it is 100% a hit!!
The live shows for Idol don't start until end of Feb or first of March. So it will be a long time before Adam can perform. Of course, they could always introduce a video during a commercial or anytime during the audition shows.

Cause those 2 countries are the ones into For Your Entertainment (the song), I mean talking about let your freak flags fly, that's where you go fly! IMO, it's all about timing. RCA probably figures that Adam would charm the radio & media (which he totally will) and get some more mileage out of NCOE in Japan & Oz while he's there, then come back to the States and get ready for launching the new single. Oh, how I wish RCA had any balls and outside-the-box thinking to launch the new single in either Oz or Japan! I mean really, just for once throw the rule book outta the window! ETA: oh, mys*&@^#r, when does Idol air on TV, I mean not the live shows but those auditions? Be back in an hour, tennis match tonight...wish me luck  |

Idol doesn't start back on TV until mid-January 2013. X-Factor will be on until just before Christmas.
