The standing versus sitting isn't usually the problem (unless venue has non standing areas which they sometimes do and which are always noted on the ticket - at least here in oz). It's when the crowd moves into the aisles and front which in non GA venues is a huge safety issue... but hey is water under bridge and agree Adam should probably pick his venues.
