So, to take my crazy ass one step further.... the venues of these 3 shows, Costa Mesa, FS, and Winstar have grossed approx. a total of $630,000. Not sure what Adam's cut in all that is, but I would say at least 50% but probably way more. So, it's not bad for 2 weeks of work!  On the casinos? Does he get a cut or a flat fee plus expenses, since the casino makes a ton of money on gambling, drinks, food and lodging? Duchess, you're correct! According to a friend of mine who works at an Indian casino resort here in town (they get lots of big names too), the big draw artists are paid very well! Other than the contracted fee, they generally get a cut too, percentage depends on the generated sales. Oh, guess who else is coming to our big desert on Oct. 17th too? Brad Paisley, The Band Perry & Scotty McCreery are sharing the stage at Ashley HomeFurniture Outdoor Pavilion. I knew the new Idol from this board, and just found out who Brad Paisley was this morning, too, and I guess The Band Perry is country as well.  |
