I was struck by the fact that although there were comments that the Queen concert buzz did not make its way across the pond, we see evidence in this review and others how much it did penetrate at least the media consciousness. I think this is a huge plus. Also the tone that although he played to these huge audiences abroad, that he is happy to be home playing his music to his home country crowds. He comes across as natural, not puffed up and generally fabulous. You know, the one thing that has struck me lately with all the varying levels of buzz on different Adam topics lately is RESPECT. Respect that Queen chose Adam to front them in freaking arenas at a time when they were under no obligation (or had the slightest financial need) to perform at all. They came out of retirement solely for Adam. Respect that Adam is a serious contender for a TV judgeship, at a time when such judgeships appear to be only offered to respected, established performers. Even if Adam isn't necessarily at the same "rank" yet, the company he's associated with is pretty amazing. Respect for a #1 album. It may have not transitioned (yet) into radio play. But that #1 seemingly gets mentioned *every*single*interview*and*article*. Respect for the voice. No one even tries to argue that anymore. Its a given. ********** Makes me happy :D

Technically challenged nervous ninny here. : I downloaded London 3 WWTLF from the Talc files already converted to MP3 but like the London 2 show for the other songs. Is there a mediafire link with the flac files already converted to MP3 for that show? I've already checked the Queen thread and the news thread for July 12. I can't ask anyone in my family to help as I live in a strictly no illegal d/l household. I simply can't live without hearing Adam sing Queen music every day. Technically it's not an illegal DL because what you are DLing is not for sale! ;D I am way late...so please excuse the late comment. I am not a lawyer but did consult one about this. No, there is no standard about something being for sale = not illegal to download. The copyright for these songs belongs to the copyright owners -- which depending on the song is Freddie's estate, Brian May and Roger Taylor. So technically the download is illegal; The performance is protected. There are recording rights which have not been granted to fans. Both Queen and Adam have freely allowed fans to video, post and download their performances, and both seem to have realized this expands the fanbase and total sales. So, I do not think that there is major legal risk involved. HOWEVER I think it is very important that we do not take this gift for granted. Both Queen and Adam and the associated rights owners have the legal right to pull everything. This is just my personal opinion and does not represent the opinion of this site or anyone I consulted.
