Okay, so this is sort of a dumb thing to spend time on, but.... Has anyone else noticed when Adam touches hands with audience members that he almost seems to make a special connection with most of them? He almost stops on each one and often gives a special squeeze. It all looks to me like a little ballet of graceful hands. And in the London "I Want to Break Free" he seems to really look at each person as well. He doesn't just slap his hand quickly across the rows of hands reaching toward him--like most stars or athletes. It's like he is acknowledging each person.

So, it may have been posted on page 1, and many may have seen it by many, but it was so great that I thought it needed to be seen by everyone!! |

Oh dear, how did this happen :dunno: I've had it on repeat for the last two hours. Completely unexpected - I don't listen much to the "dark" side of the album except Chokehold and OOL. As for touching Adam inappropriately - well - the face is very emotionally intimate - other areas are sexually intimate - both are out of bounds. I loved how he trusted the audience and on the whole it was well-founded. He is a force of nature after all ;D. When he went into the audience at GNT in Sydney for his tongue dive, the audience was tearing at his clothes - he was laughing, but it was a very different vibe that Adam was giving off. I think he knows how to assert himself. |

Apparently Ryan (in London for the Olympics) was asked on the Today Show about possible Idol judges. From twitter:
Ryan says Pink and Brad (Paisley) are on the short list. No Adam mention
I have no idea if this means something or nothing.

BUT my guess is they are talking to or have talked to or at least talked to the management for both Pink and Brad. **** I get the impression that some Adam fans (and even a few non-fans) have decided that Adam has this. But there are still a lot of names floating out there. I really think they have not put it together yet. >> I am not saying that Adam won't be asked, just that it does not appear to be final. On the panel: Mariah Carey Status on the panel unknown but probable: Randy Here's a list of some of the people I can find that seem to be coming up a lot: Jon Bon Jovi will.i.am Brad Paisley (the only country artist who keeps getting mentioned) Kanye West Bret Michaels (said he wants to be a judge) Aretha Franklin (she emailed CNN) Adam Lambert (said he wants to be a judge) Jerry Lewis (joke by Nigel, most press got it -- he's 86) Charlie Sheen (may have been a joke by Nigel, he said he wants to be a judge) Beyonce (IMO Not likely with Mariah, she would demand more money.) Nicki Minaj (IMO Not likely with Mariah, also Idol can't afford her.) Lady Gaga (Coming from fans, IMO was never likely) Janet Jackson (IMO Not likely with Mariah) Miley Cyrus Fergie Katy Perry (said she does not want to be a judge) Pink There are a ton of other names swirling around -- an interesting one is E Street Band guitarist and satellite radio show host Steve Van Zandt. Finally, they only had one "performer" on the judging panel (Paula) for the first 10 seasons of Idol. They may follow the other shows and go to all performers/recording artists. But there are a lot of other possibility. Note: Randy is primarily a producer and manager, Kara was primarily a songwriter. >> My money is that Fox is talking to people who have not been mentioned in the press. |
