Mika. I found yesterday's thread with the CB discussion depressing. I am not saying the topic is not valid, but which topic? CB and ABC? CB, ABC and Adam..it gets muddled. I wish the AMA's would go away already.
I respect members' opinions about violence in this society. I do not, however, believe that any discussion of CB and ABC as a stand-alone topic is appropriate for this thread. I have strong opinions about violence myself. I was abused.
Even though this may be good PR for Adam, I would love to see his PR coming from his charitable acts or, God forbid, GNL!! Resurrecting the AMA's leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Adam gave an angry performance that night and I felt sucker-punched by it. I,
IN NO WAY, connect this to CB> Let me be clear. I have never watched a vid of it again. There is a lot of stuff that went down that we will never know about and the timing of Chris Brown on ABC stunk and was not fair that Adam was banned. But how long do we have to keep resurrecting this?
Stand against violence, yes. Express oneself, yes. Constantly swinging in Adam in a context in which he was not involved?? Two years ago, he was very much involved in the timing of ABC's ban.
This latest CB meltdown is about CB, ABC and ratings. Period.
I don't approve of it but he is also not the only hot-headed wacko getting press.
The only thing I ever want to say about the AMA's again is when I saw glimpses of the rehearsal footage it came to me..WTF with that choreography? It is going to eat Adam alive. And it did. Like watching a gerbil trying to make it through a maze. No wonder he couldn't sing.

I can put the AMA's to bed. That choreo was a trainwreck waiting to happen and I have wanted to say that for a long time.
