I just checked my "sauli" column on tweetdeck. the LJ peeps did a screen cap of a FB message from Lucas Morel to Sauli. I have no idea of the authenticity and I'm not gonna bring it over. Do a search on "sauli" if you have an interest. I saw that several hours ago. When you go to the thread at LJ where it's being discussed, some think it's a fake. Surely Adam has gotten rid of the person who was leakng stuff from his FB by now. If not, he needs to find another way to communicate! I think Adam said as recently as that Grammy summit that he still hasn't found the person. I have FB but only to be able to open links. I have never ever used it and have no idea how it works so I would be the last person to know if the screencap is fake or not. My guess is that is is fake.

That's what I do too, rad. I follow very few people and stay away from certain people. Twitter can be nothing but unfounded rumors, gossip, and trouble if you allow it to be.

Twitter can be nothing but unfounded rumors, gossip, and trouble if you allow it to be. but twitter evolves. everyone follows a limited number of people in the beginning and swears this is the way it's gonna be. you try to read every tweet. or most of them. you can pick up where you left off. then you follow more, and more follow you. then you set up lists. tweetdeck becomes indispensable. actually I'm using tweetdeck since my first month on twitter. it too has evolved and many of the features on twitter were copied from tweetdeck, i.e., drop down boxes. tweetdeck also had lists way before twitter - they were called groups.

No, I follow very few people and it's been that way since the Idol tour. I don't follow everyone that follows me. And if someone I am following tweets too much, I stop follwoing them.

I think once I started meeting people is when my followers/following jumped. If you follow someone and none of the people they are following, you miss out on conversations because you will only see the tweets of the peeps you are following. Think of Adam's tweets. You will only get his general tweets if you are not following the people he follows. You will have to go to his homepage to see the other tweets (unless you have a list). This is fine for one person but doesn't work when you are trying to be in a group conversation. And this is another reason I love my TweetDeck. I can have pared down lists but my home column is there to take a peek to see if I am missing anything.

I've seen that before but can't remember where it is from. I'm sure Gelly will know, when she gets up.
