OK, as long as we're enjoying Adam's interviews, I love this one from Switzerland, 2010. What a flirt!

Thanks to all who are digging out old videos from the archives. I'm loving them! I forgot about the sheer fabulosity of WLL Cologne. I watched it endlessly at the end of GNT. The way he silences the crowd with a hissing sound and then the heavy breathing into the microphone...... a definite classic!!!!!! Not to mention the notes he hits!!!! It looked like Taylor was videoing the performance from the wings and Adam was playing it up a bit. Overdrive!
Question for the archivists....................I have been wanting to find and view a video interview of a former Rolling Stone reporter who accompanied his wife (I believe) to a GNT concert and provided an informal video review. In the video, he mentions the "coterie" of dancers providing great energy. He also comments about how RELAXING it is to watch Adam perform because the viewer is confident that Adam will hit the notes, etc. Does anyone remember this video??? Thanks!

I think there is something wrong with the sound mix on the Billboard Triumphant Livestream. I will wait until I hear the real song before making a judgment on the vocal. --- I prefer when the key vocal is more tightly integrated into the rap portion of songs like this. Airplane, Empire State of Mine, Love the Way You Lie --- there are so many good example of how to fuse pop/R7B vocals and rap to create something really powerful. This still seems ordinary to me. >> Put me on the #DoNotWantAdam2FollowThisTrend list. (I think I am the only one.) But if Adam wanted to cover Run-D.M.C. - Walk This Way - and do the Steven Tyler part it would be fine with me. (Adam doing "Walk This Way" would be amazing.) >> I am really puzzled by the comments that Mariah's part is "Philly Soul" inspired. How can it be with no backbeat? Wrong chords? Sounds like a pop vocal to me. I would like to hear Mariah do some neo Philly Soul music. Adam actually has a bit of it on a couple Trespassing tracks. You are not the only one who doesn't want Adam to follow this trend-- you can add me to the list! The Steven Tyler "Walk This Way" is just about the only song you listed that I like. There are a couple of rap/singing mixes I love but that is unusual for me--just not my thing usually. I have never really been a Mariah fan either (although I certainly appreciate her talent), but her current song isn't great and the rapper/Mariah mix is just meh for me. I would love to hear her do some modern soul music though.

One of my must haves I was lucky to be in the small audience of this. So blown away, I was totally speechless at the m&g afterwards. (not)sorry for spamming with repeats THIS is the cure-all for AFL-angsting. This grounds me, makes me aware what Adam is about at the most basic level. No bells, no whistles, just Adam talking to and performing for people who love him. I just looove the theme of these days, all those gems popping up!!! It is good to take a look back at what we treasue most about Adam, what we always loved and feel validated. But also discovering new things I overlooked before. I have to admit I like these glimpses into the past a bit more than Queenbert even. Maybe because I missed him "live" before. I only discovered Adam about 5 days before he had the GNT concert here in Vienna. So I have had to catch up ever since. I never knew of the confessionals.... but this really sums up my reasons for loving Adam as much as I do. Top 4 Confessional Link: lockerz.com/d/7650137Strong, beautiful (ok, not quite awake yet then), going over the top on purpose, insisting on ROF being great, in all these early "interviews" he already covered all the topicsthat he still does.

newsroom.mtv.com/2012/08/03/adam-lambert-promises-trespassing-tour-just-not-yet/Adam Lambert Promises Trespassing Tour … Just Not Yet Adam Lambert's latest album Trespassing debuted at #1 back in May, and now, nearly three months later, the former "American Idol" contestant is reassuring his dedicated fans that he does plan to hit the road in support of the set … but not until "the time is right." The glam-pop star hit Twitter last night (August 2) to tell the nation of Glamberts that a Trespassing tour will indeed happen but that they might have to wait a while longer. "Have no fear, a Trespassing Tour WILL come. When the time is right," Lambert tweeted. "Trust me Glamberts! I won't let you down." more What's wrong with planning a TP tour in the fall and starting in 2013? Nothing else on the schedule unless Queen brings shows to the US. In that case it would have to be later!!

Spring 2013 sounds about right and since Queen gigs would onyl be a few, I think he can plan both.
