I took it as stated above but with the following additions: their chemistry and how it was received. It was an appropriate statement I think but it also is clear it was a very successful experiment worth repeating! I agree! Although, since they said "it was so easy", them working together, I assume they had a pretty good idea about the chemistry beofre the first show. But how crowds reacted might have been a concern! IDK they toured with Paul Rodgers and that went ok. Maybe because he was on AI?

That's how time flies. My favourite go-back-and-wallow daily news threads/no 1 pages (London) are already on page 2 of Daily News & Information. *sighs, but goes back nonetheless* Thats just because I was there and did not take any camera ... relying solely on the online community, and it paid off :-)

I don't know - I'm getting a little bit restless ???. So many options for Adam and so little that we know. - the single - the TP tour - the Q+AL-tour - AI And if I am really bad at something then it has to be - WAITING!!!! In the meantime I take some pics of Adam and try to put my stamp on it ;D - killing time.

IMHO I think that Adam is the only singer who is so good he confuses some fans. Sorta like trying to like both, but then... brain freeze. Or on this board I should say cognitive dissonance

I really like it.

I'm trying to write something about "Trespassing" the song and I need some help. I would really, REALLY, like to know if Brian May and Roger Taylor have ever reacted to the group of Queen fans who have a problem with them using that name; if they have made any comments or what their general attitude on that issue is. It obviously hasn't stopped them from performing ( thank universe!), but I would like to know their feelings and opinions regarding that. Anything is welcome - links, thoughts, articles... here, or on TP thread, or you can PM me. This is what I've done so far: www.adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=adam2&thread=861&post=287939 Thanks in advance! There has never been any direct comment on the issue from B or R...and I would know The closest I ever heard anybody say anything was when Roger said something to the effect of that some people questioned whether they were tarnishing their legacy with current actions (this might have been even before QAL though) where he said his comment would be fuck it, it was their legacy to tarnish if that's the case or something to that effect. If I find the exact quote I'll bring it here. Is there really a significant group of Queen fans who don't want the name "Queen" associated with these concerts? Because they have been REALLY careful to label things "Queen with Adam Lambert." It has been made pretty clear by everyone that Adam is not joining the band; he has said time and time again that he is their "guest." I guess I don't know what more Brian and Roger could do to convince people. They have been so respectful of Freddie and the original band. I mean, I can totally understand how certain Queen fans might have no interest in Adam fronting the band. I get that. But, he is singing Queen songs, and Brian and Roger are still the heart of it. How could any Queen fan have a problem with "Queen with Adam Lambert?" That's kind of what it is. Well because they say it's NOT what it is. Brian and Roger are not Queen. Queen is Freddie, Brian, Roger, and John. Without Freddie or John is it disingenuous to call it Queen. PLEASE NOTE - I'm not one who gets in arms with what they call it. To me it's the surviving members of Queen doing the Queen catalogue. So screw it. BUT I do see their point. To some it would be like Adam Lambert's backing band taking James Durbin going out as "The Adam Lambert Band" with James singing Adam's songs. Ok so not QUITE the same but that's as close as I could come to what they are feeling...

Had to go and see, I cannot believe I hadn't seen that before! Lovely interview! He certainly could make a living just by talking! I would pay for that!
