Doubt it. He has the Trespassing tour to focus on. He's not gonna do 2 big tours imo

IF Idol does the judges announcement like they did in 2010 -- and there is no certainty about that -- they will leak it, then then they announce the new judges, then they will have a PR event related to the Idol auditions judges round with everyone together.
In 2010 this happened in early September.
It looks like this may happen sooner.

But it would be nice (better than nice)... Spike talked about using it in the 6 shows and his own band would not be doing a big world tour! There's no way he's talking about anything but Queen. While the Queen tour will be World, I doubt it will be more than say 10-12 cities. They will play big venues. I think it is totally doable for Adam! Adam welcomes challenge and opportunites. |

I wouldn't say there's NO way he's talking about anything but Queen. He gets involved with several projects and has worked with many artists. If Queen wasn't planning anything, it's possible Spike might be lining something up for himself...perhaps with a different artsit. Spike's All Star Band though doesn't usually do big tours...they are usually more special events.
I would say that most likely he is talking about Queen BUT at the same time his hopes and crossed fingers won't mean THAT much more than ours. It is a good sign that it has at least been bandied about...and HE definitely wants to tour. It would have to be about convincing Brian and Roger who seem not to want to do any kind of BIG tour. Then again, they did seem re-energized so who really knows. But I wouldn't put BIG stock into this...He's certainly more involved than Neil Fairclough (the bassist) or Rufus would be as a "member" of Queen but he's more of a top aide - he does what he's told to do. On the other hand, it means there is a trust ed member of the band pushing B&R for more...
I'll keep my fingers crossed with you...but a LOT would have to happen.

The only way I could see Adam doing some kind of extended tour with Queen would be if Trespassing was done, and he had no immediate plans with RCA regarding his solo career. And, obviously, it would mean the AI thing was not happening.
eta---I saw an add yesterday for the new Jonas Brothers reality show. It's producer or creator (or both?) is Ryan Seacrest. I wonder if a deal for the Idol judging gig was somehow worked into this.
