@zoiks_online: Adam Lambert (@adamlambert) Is Bigger Than His Music.: www.zoiksonline.com/2012/08/adam-lambert-adamlambert-is-bigger-than.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ZoiksOnline-AMagazineOfHumorEntertainmentAndPopCulture+%28Zoiks%21+Online+-+A+magazine+of+humor%2C+entertainment+and+pop+culture.%29 “American Idol” phenom Adam Lambert has certainly made a name for himself post reality show circuit. His fan base, Glamberts, is arguably the greatest fan base to ever support a musician. They’re definitely the craziest by far but hell, they support their guy through thick and thin. For only having two studio albums, the glittery alien has been a media wunderkind since debuting on AI season 8 in 2008. What’s impressive about Lambert is the fact that he didn’t even win the competition. The main reason why Lambert has done so well for himself is due to his constant television appearances, close call debuts and Twitter messages. The ABC Family hit series, Pretty Little Liars, will see Lambert on its Halloween episode later this year. The show confirmed the news with the singer playing none other than himself as he performs at a party attended by the show’s “liars.” Although it is unknown whether or not Lambert will be one of the new judges on the reality show that helped build his career, there are high hopes that the glittery alien would return to the series. With J.Lo and Steven Tyler exiting the series, fans look to the magic of Lambert to return the show to glory. more

I'm sitting here thinking of Adam's tweet promising that there will be a Trespassing tour when the time is right and all of the sudden I have this fun fantasy of Adam and his management trying to sift through all the these opportunities pouring in for him right now that we don't even know about to decide which ones he should do and which ones he should pass on, and how to fit all the best ones in so that he can do them ALL. Yep. This is what they must be doing.

We recently had a discussion here about Best Buy (I think) putting up new merchandising for Trespassing. Well, here's an FYI for ya: I live in BFE Missouri and I have never seen Trespassing in my Wal*Mart anywhere at all. I'm not obsessive about it, but I scope out the CD's every few weeks. Tonight, shock of all shocks, I found 10 copies ....5 regular and 5 deluxe. Hmmmmmm......... Oooooo. That IS interesting. I was disgusted to find that my local walmart was not carrying trespassing when it was released in may. I should go back and check if they are now stocking it. Hmmmm, indeed. Can someone with some knowledge of promo and stocking brick and mortars answer my question... Can a label (or distributing arm) push product to outlets, rather than outlets requesting product? I kind of wonder if they are gearing up for single #3. I went with my 8 year old this morning to target to by Kid Bop #22 (on the condition that I do not have to listen to Call Me Maybe ever again). I went to check and see if Trespassing was on the shelf since its been out of stock for.. I don't know how long. There it was. I didn't count the CDs, but my local Target is the size of a closet and the music selection is pretty anemic. I was really, really surprised to see it in stock, much less front and center with in the "L" section of POP. On a side note: The Kids Bop #22 is pretty funny. The remake of some of the lyrics this time around is comical.

mixredding.com/2012/08/06/adam-lambert-promising-a-solo-tour-after-fans-twitter-campaign/ADAM LAMBERT PROMISING A SOLO TOUR AFTER FANS’ TWITTER CAMPAIGN August 6, 2012 By Mix 101.1 Staff Following a string of successful tour dates with Queen, Adam Lambert has promised his fans a solo tour in support of his chart-topping Trespassing album. His fans, or ‘Glamberts’ as they are commonly known, have been campaigning online for a solo Lambert tour, with ‘We Want Trespassing Tour’ trending on Twitter earlier this week. Now, Lambert has responded to the fan demands, promising that a tour is in the pipeline. “Have no fear, a Trespassing Tour WILL come. When the time is right.” Lambert told fans on Twitter. “Trust me Glamberts! I won’t let you down. ” He also revealed his love for French dance producer Martin Solveig, an in particular his track ‘Rocking Music’, tweeting that the track ‘gets him together’. Adam Lambert recently revealed that his love for Freddie Mercury only developed when he was ‘smoking pot’ as a student. He has been performing with Queen in 2012, including three dates at London’s Hammersmith Apollo earlier this year.

Help my poor memory, but didn't Brian May said before the tour that with it they are "testing a little bit" or something like that?

Help my poor memory, but didn't Brian May said before the tour that with it they are "testing a little bit" or something like that? I think it was Roger that called it an experiment! I always felt he meant it was whether or not they had the stamina for a tour!
