I think black has to be stripped to go lighter. Or it could be just crazy ass hair for Japan!! They will love it!! ETA: Also, perhaps the eyebrows are an indication that this is indeed a middle phase of the process to just go lighter. IDK! I just love following this man!! Who else is this much fun?!!! I don't know about the US, but very few people I know match their hair and eye brows anymore, it's considered uncool and old school ! |

Had to sign in to say that I just LOVE IT....I have expected this at some point...surprised it took him this long actually. He looks great!! The roots will look better with the blonde than the black. I expect he will let the eyebrows lighten up a little...but not to natural unless there is a lot less red in them than I expect there is....His eyes will still look awesome, just in a slightly different way. The longer top hair will be a little unhappy for a short while but it is strong and grows quickly, and it is not that long at the moment... yeah!! eta I definitely do not see this making him look older at all...and the tan will look much better with the blonde than the black..when he had a tan it was aging but now...just healthy and sexy...haha Amen to what she said !!! |

Just heard that George Michaels has tweeted that he is singing closing ceremonies with Queen, anyone else seen/heard that? That makes way more sense than JJ! And I love JJ, but I really think the Queeen songs need a male voice and male presence! #sorryboutit |

As someone who is naturally very blonde I can tell it's a lot easier to maintain the blonde than the dark. I've colored my hair pretty much every color under the sun and the blonde hair growing in under dark color always looked the worst.
With the platinum (which I currently have) the roots come in looking darker than normal...not black but more brown against the platinum.

gelly, when did Adam tweet that pic He tweeted it last year but he said the pic was from 2003 OK, thanks gelly. Adam is very clever about sending out mysterious "clues", I just wondered if he had sent this out recently, and was giving us a cryptic "heads up" for the current do. It does have @2012 |
