I'm afraid that there are absolutely no plans for this in the pipeline. It was merely a moment of distracted wishful thinking on my part!! (Spike's tweets are in ref. to his comments at the end of this video) As one who usually bursts bubbles...I think this sounds as if he's been reigned in by someone...perhaps not wanting to let anything out. I don't think he mentions anything like this unless discussions have at least taken place. Unless he was aware of the discussions and didn't know the outcome until after the video came out... Adam going blond on us is so #Shady from him. Anyways, I think it is marvelous how people start issuing official disclaimers when faced with the Glambert force... ( I'm referring to Spike Edney here and that guy who wrote about Adam maybe joining Queen for the closing of Olympics - if it wasn't clear enough. Sometimes writing in English feels like walking on a minefield, and it isn't because of the grammar or spelling, let me tell you... ) |

I think Talon is right - that kind of denial says to me that something's brewing for a Queen + Adam Lambert short tour. We'll have to stay tuned.
Never wrote a recap of going to all 3 London concerts. Here it is:

I think Talon is right - that kind of denial says to me that something's brewing for a Queen + Adam Lambert short tour. We'll have to stay tuned. I wouldn't say I'm quite a bubble blower yet And sometimes a cigar is just a cigar...but my gut tells me that they have at least had some internal discussions . Have they been dismissed already? Quite possibly. The fact that QOL moved the QAL threads to the Dear Friends sections (which is a section for past collaborations, etc.) instead of as a current project is a dark mark against something else happening). And quite possibly Spike was hoping for something and when someone (B,R or Jim Beach) got wind of the quote, let him know it wasn't happening. BUT things change and the fact that it was successful and further dates have not been ruled out - *shrug* I'm going to choose to be positive |
