Murly, that joke is often true in this state. The mother of the bride and the bride being pregnant at the same time. Wasn't true in my case and won't be true in my daughter's case. I hope she doesn't wait as long as I did to get pregnant or I will have to live to be 86 to see my first grandchild. Don't know if I would make it or remember it if I did. : ) . It's also true in the South. I once picked up one of my daughters from a GS camp and one of the girls announced to my daughter that her Grandmother was here for her. I was mid forties and my daughter about ten. She was far more mortified than I was. |

I have the same issues with age. I am 63 with a 16 year son and 22 year old daughter. Both are adopted, later in life for me. Both have with me for 9 years now. I don't look my age, but my husband does, and can keep up with the best of them. But I think my son sometimes wishes I was younger. I'm doing a 5K run with him on Saturday, so is his sister and her new boyfriend. We'll see who dies first.

Watching some of thefilmqueen vids and they are pretty amazing. Hers are some of the best that have shown up. Good enough to DVD. |
