'Well fuck. Age me.' Thank you for your post! I SO hear you.
I just turned 63 and it befuddles me to see myself at an age. I look at this number and say..interesting..it's a number. It's not the person who is ageless and lives her life around similarly minded people who believe that attitude is as close to an age as you'll ever get.
I had my hair colored a highlighted white blonde with wine streaks for the hell of it once. Sounds strange but with my natural color it was beautiful. And I felt sassy. Purple may be next until I truly turn silver. Then all bets are off.
I can play in the sandbox with 5 year olds or ponder the nature of the universe. I am who I am who I am. Get over it.

Talon I like your posts. Glad you're sticking around. I've fallen down my own Queen rabbit hole of late. Help me, I'm even watching QPR and QE vids! :D Thanks. The whole Queen thread project adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=recommendations&action=display&thread=996&page=3 where I have been giving a Queen education to the newly converted or those wanting to return has given me plenty of reason to stay! Come visit :D (and hey QE is great and there were some good moments in QPR - I'm a bit partial because it finally allowed me to see B&R  It does work both ways, I find myself curious to see what is going on in Adam's world so I stick around...though I don't think you'll see me posting much about his hair  But did you realize that Adam is in the same hair club as Brian and Roger now??  ;D ;D ;D |

Momtomany, I'm so with you on the not coloring my hair. I've decided that I'm not going to conform to the idea of gray means old and washed up. I don't really love my gray streaks. But the only way to change people's mind about whether women are still worthwhile (vital, contributors) is to keep the gray and hope society gets used to it. It's one of the few ways I buck the system. I'm totally a conformist otherwise.  Plus, at a certain point colored hair can start to look very odd--face is wrinkly and hair is jet black. Regarding the botox, I think the response on Atop was not anti-botox, but surprise that it was stated as a fact that Adam has had it--cuz most of us have never heard about that. I, too, don't care if he had it, but I did go "huh?" to myself. I agree. If Adam had botox and chose to tell us, fine. I think it quite presumptious for anyone, tabloid rag or not, to boldly declare that Adam has had any personal procedure done. Quite a WTF moment for me to read that cause his forehead says otherwise. What will the next unfounded rumor be - lipo and stomach stapling and hair transplants? :-/ |

Crazy thought: Imagine that Brian was so re-energized by this set of concerts that, feeling 30 years younger, he recolored his hair. Then he and Adam would meet, look at each other, and both say, "WTF?!?" Don't mind me... I'm just rockin out to the Kiev concert... ;D |

Madonna touring in Russia .. gives a speech to the russian audience to support gay rights in gay hostile St. Petersburgh. It's on YOuTube .. I don't know how to bring this over. If someone would do this ,it would be great. Amazingly courageous speech declaring equality for gay people in Russia and around the world. You can be jailed for being gay in Russia..
