On another matter, I went to vote on the Do Something Awards, and they have a new page. The problem is when I hit vote no sign like "Thank you for voting" pops up. It is like it is not registering my vote. Is everyone having that problem? I can't get it to do anything either. Maybe the voting is over? I hope so; I hate polls that last for weeks and weeks.
Some of the pictures of blond Adam remind me a little of this guy. For the non-Buffy fans here, this is James Marsters as Spike the vampire.

Q3, here is the lineup: www.fujitv.co.jp/uso2012/mezalive.html
Adam is the only westerner, everybody else are either homegrown talents or hugely popular K-Pop groups (like 2PM). Below is the screen cap of Adam's schedule, doors open at 12n, show starts at 12:30p and ends at 12:50p; then doors reopen at 3:30p, the group, Super Girls comes on at 4p and ends at 4:30p. I noticed everybody's got 30min except Adam (20min), could be a typo (but knowing it's Japan, unlikely), or it's just how he wanted (it's no picnic performing outdoors in this time of year in Japan!).
ETA: and the introduction is just beyond awesome: acclaimed vocalist of the century, a voice of god, No1 US debut album, Queen's new "front man" and one of the headliners at Sonic. All bases covered! ETA2: Japan is 16hrs ahead of west coast and 13hrs for east coast. Local time right now is 2:05am Aug. 15th.

Lol at the dragon ball z references!
Although not a fan of DBZ in particular, I am quite a fan of some very old school anime. For me, Adam has always seemed like an anime character come to life...his hair, his eyes, his costumes, his bearing, his strut...
Just one more facet of why I adore him!

A quick update on Adam’s concert at the AZ State Fair in October. The State Fair box office is going to work with 1n10 to secure blocks of seats for approximately 30-35 youth. So far, through the helpful ideas and support of graciejane, JustKaren, diamondlil and BlackAndYellow (and others) there are commitments for about 15 tickets so far. If anyone would like to participate in this effort to support 1n10 youth to attend Adam’s concert, the reserved tickets are $20 each. There are hundreds of young people served by 1n10 and only a limited number of tickets, so the staff will come up with a way to select the youth to attend the concert (e.g. recognition, prizes). If you are interested in supporting a youth to attend Adam’s concert, please send me a direct message and I will let you know where to send the money for the tickets. Or, if you would like to contribute a few dollars towards transportation (bus or light rail tickets) that would be great. And, as always, your kind thoughts and just checking out the onenten.org website to acknowledge the youth means quite a lot, too. I am still working on the process with 1n10, so it may take me a few days or more to respond to any direct messages. Thanks so much to all that are able to support this little project to bring some joy in the form of Adam’s amazing music to these awesome young people. Can you please explain what the 1n10 group is again. Thx. 1n10 is a wonderful organization. Some fans volunteer their time and many fans have sent them CD's. They use the CD's as incentives and door prizes for their events. They support LGBT teens in the Arizona area. I am beyond thrilled that they are attending. Many Adam fans have been working with them since the FYE era. Here is more info onenten.org/

After watching the NTV performance of Trespassing..the song itself is growing on me (must be the AOBTD influences ). I still think the music itself could be more organic...it's too computery slick for me. But Adam has always had a great voice and great command of the stage. I agree. I actually kind of like the live versions (this performance doesn't count because just the vocals were live) and am not so interested in the album version. The synthetic percussion parts (in particular) lack the warmth of live instruments. I took the suggestion earlier on this thread and watched the IHeart radio performances. Great! ETA: I'm not opposed at all to electronic music--love Broken Open because of it. Just don't care for it in Trespassing as much.

Don't mind me, I am day-dreaming The fact is Adam is not going to New Zealand though NZ is not far from Oz. There must be something very important at the end of August that Adam has to come back to the US.
Rumor has it said that Pharrell will be at "idol" audition at the end of August.
Could these be coincident? Assuming that they are not. Both Adam and Pharrell will be idol judges. They will be at the auditions in Sept, and at the same time they will appear a lot on other TV shows to talk about their new position. They will also talk about their cooperation in Trespassing, Adam will perform Trespassing as it will be the new single. Oh, Adam will also talk about fronting Queen. There are just too many things to talk about, so all of the TV shows want to get them on.
At the moment, as the idol thingy needs to be kept confidential, no TV show has been booked yet, but don't be surprised that there will be alot around Sept and Oct. I don't want to wake up I love your entire daydream! But the part I highlighted is REALITY, not a daydream! Whatever is happening during that schedule gap it is something. High hopes for something BIG!Or maybe it's just a time SAVED for something BIG in his schedule. If IT doesn't happen, I'm sure they can fill up the time with some promotion quickly.

Time saved = POSSIBILITY of something big at least, so yeah. And even the possibility is exciting!
