I know most people do not want another Idol related post....this is my first one...I think. One thing that sticks in my mind as perhaps just a coincidence...but a strange one...is after the Shirley H. article ran in HR, she tweeted out a photo of Adam...which I don't recall her ever doing before. I thought the timing was odd..almost like she was trying to give a hint of some kind. Could he possibly have a 'role' other than judge for the season. Not a music mentor like Jimmy I. but some kind of adviser thing where he would work with the contestants regarding how to deal with the total experience of being on Idol... not so much from the music angle but concerning other parts of it and how to navigate the waters and cope. Things he had gone through as a contestant... tips and advise for them as they go through the experience. He'd still get weekly exposure on the show....I know I am probably totally wrong, but oh well...just had that thought.... |

No rush, RCA planned single #3 for September and that looks like when it will be pushed to US radio. We do not have a single release date but looks like they will go for radio adds some time in September, so they can move the song up to peak in November-December. In other words, timed for the holiday season. Adam asked fans to request NCOE a few weeks ago because they want to keep his music on the radio until they release a new single. If they planned that the 3rd single will be released in Sept, and they knew well ahead that Adam would go to Japan late August, why didn't they have everything ready so Adam could announce the new single before he went to Japan and Oz this time, so he could officially promote it. For example he could discuss it and officially introduce the new single on the radio before they played it. (this is my new single, available now on itunes or to be released on itunes on... go grab it :-)) I am missing your point -- but are you suggesting that Adam should have said, my new single is going to be XXXXX, then head off to Japan before it was released? Makes no promotional sense. It makes more sense to wait until Adam returns to the US and can help promote the single to North American Radio. US and Canada are his most important markets. The only odd thing in terms of timing is that Adam Tweeted about the single so far before the release date. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. |

Yeah - I give one too. And I'm not stressed either. heh. ;D Haha! I give a fuck too (and love that Dr. Suess thingy). I'm not stressed - If Idol is out of the picture, we'll get something else to talk about, I'm sure. Oh and I didn't realize that the Nicki Minaj thing looked so inevitable. I think she's great and would (will?) be a HUGE feather in Idol's cap. We are so focused on Idol, I think we assume everyone's big September news is Idol-related ... but maybe Nicki is going to do a big movie, or maybe she is PG, or ... ??? It doesn't HAVE TO be Idol just because it is happening in September. JMHO ... |

His album promotion this time around's kinda strange. Looks like they're heavily stress it to promote him in Europe and UK. He still does promotion in Oz but only in Sydney? Is it because the sales not that good in Oz and that's the only place that SonyAu want him to come? How about SE Asia? I would think he still has a lot of fans in this regions. I'm trying to rebuild and I'm looking for a particularly beautiful acoustic performance of NCOE & BTIKM that was from one of the radio station gigs on the East coast. unlike everyone else here - I AM stressed... although I've decided that the AI gig ain't happening (based on my reading of the latest interviews)..
I do want this to be over ...
...but frankly - I'd rather be stressed over our "poor bb AFL" than my RL issues ;D
