Yes.. because that Trespassing color that Adam has is really catchy in the eyes.. that's probably why JB's designer's copying it.. but this design has to be approved by JB and his manager though right?? Justin Bieber has a 360 deal with Island Def Jam Music Group (IDJ). Antonio “L.A.” Reid who signed Bieber to a 360 deal in October 2008 said the partnership entitles the label to a cut of Bieber’s ancillary income, or as Reid calls it, “a very small piece of the pie.” Including merchandising, publishing royalties, endorsements and sponsorships, IDJ stands to make 15 to 20 percent on average. >> On a 360 deal, the label at least has part of the say in merchandising. >> I do not know who has official approval on JB merchandise, but there is too much of it for Justin to have the time to approve it personally. **** I have no idea is this shirt is real (doubt it) but there are other parts of Believe merch and the album cover that look like Adam. There are some that look like My Pretty Pony too. The album cover was almost certainly an coincidence. Like Adam and Rhianna in 2009. That shirt is not in his online store or anywhere official that I can find: justinbieber.shop.bravadousa.com/Dept.aspx?cp=21965_56921Here is the Walmart merch: www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=justin+bieber+merchandise. Target: www.target.com/s/justin+bieberThere are at least 16 other official merch lines + tour merchandise. And that is just in the US. All I can say is YIPES!! David Cassidy times 1000. As someone who may have purchased every imaginable Beatles product back in the day (remember those Paul fans?), this is quite impressive. Would it kill someone to come up with a AFL singing toothbrush for us to buy?

Soaked, you beat me to it regarding no irritation. I just saw his comment as a small eye roll. Projects get delayed all the time in the business world. It could even be something beyond the label's control, especially in a business world that is very in flux. To me the comment was about the same as me finding out I have to complete yet more paperwork for my teaching job: "What's new : ?" Right and he has addressed how there are a lot of variables involved with the business end on many, many occasions. Because there is. Nothing is that cut and dried and since the last thing we want is another single released in a media Dead Zone (last week of August probably second only to the week between Christmas and New Year's for massive media downtime), I'm totally content to wait until after Labor Day. I'm just glad he did tell us there would definitely be a new single so we weren't angsting our brains out these past few weeks. But really aren't we just waiting to hear officially the title of the new single? What logistics do you need for that? The release/adds dates can wait until September; what's the hold-up with letting fans know the song?

I did not analyze it when I commented but I guess when I read it, the " What's new?" struck me as frustrated. It is a very common Jewish-American expression and "What's new?" usually accompanied by a shrug incorporates some frustration. But clearly Adam was not resigned to just giving in because he added "I'm pushin' trust me." Adam Lambert @adamlambert @spreckles single announcement got held up by some record label logistics. Whats new?! I'm pushin' trust me. Cover looks FLY though. But trust me, I did not break it apart and analyze this before I posted. I read it and, since I've heard that expression for decades, it is how I heard it. Me too, Q3! And, has Adam ever specifically blamed the label for a delay? I don't think so. I am probably "projecting" also, because RCA has done some very odd things in the past 10 months of his releases! So, they are not on my "favorites" list! If you are right, I hope Adam is pushing the label to have better promotion and roll-out plan than the first 2. This 3rd single is so important. At the same time, my last tiny, tiny Idol hope is gone.

And really, I HATE that he has to "push" the label for anything at this point. But, that's how it goes. We really are lucky that he's getting this third single.
