I hope it's Trespassing. While Cuckoo is good, it reminds me too much of NCOE I second this. I would like Trespassing. I do like Cuckoo and LOVED NCOE. Whenever NCOE comes on I'm always singing along. Trespassing is unique though. I'll be happy with whatever he decides. |

Right and he has addressed how there are a lot of variables involved with the business end on many, many occasions. Because there is. Nothing is that cut and dried and since the last thing we want is another single released in a media Dead Zone (last week of August probably second only to the week between Christmas and New Year's for massive media downtime), I'm totally content to wait until after Labor Day. I'm just glad he did tell us there would definitely be a new single so we weren't angsting our brains out these past few weeks. But really aren't we just waiting to hear officially the title of the new single? What logistics do you need for that? The release/adds dates can wait until September; what's the hold-up with letting fans know the song? Because they would be stealing their own thunder. Look at every single announcement – the name is announced and cover art is revealed almost immediately before release. What would be the point of the Big Reveal being two weeks before the official release? It totally undermines a possibility of a media cycle right before the single drop and it would be old news for the fans by the time it drops. I think the label wanted him back in the U.S. Hopefully they want it after Labor Day and are maybe timing it with another appearance or announcement to help pump the news – after all it's a third single and not like we haven't heard the song before, whatever it is. I'm not seeing the frustration in the tweet but maybe because I totally agree that they should wait on the single until September, while Adam is in U.S. and he at least has the opportunity for a TV appearance around announcement time. |

If you are right, I hope Adam is pushing the label to have better promotion and roll-out plan than the first 2. This 3rd single is so important. At the same time, my last tiny, tiny Idol hope is gone. Why is your last tiny, tiny Idol hope gone? 'cos if it was going to happen, he shouldn't have sounded frustrated. He should have sounded similar to NMinaj, not the exact words, but something like " Sorry for the delay, but when you find out why you would be happy..." But anyway, I don't think Idol would help much with the new single now (look at Mariah's new single). My wish is a really good promo plan that can drive this single to the top of the chart. |

I am hoping and praying and fingers crossed that Adam is only on Idol as a guest performer. I know the TV watching crowd wants him on there but I hope he isn't for several reasons. 1) He doesn't want nor need that demographic and it did nothing for JLo or Tyler. Tyler lost a lot of cred in my eyes & others for being on there. 2) I hate AI and don't want to watch it. 3) It seems that a lot of people who follow the show intensely are two crackers short of a box. 4) I'm tired of the speculation and over analyzation of every gesture and word out of Adam's mouth. 5) Let's get back to the music. I think on this particular board I am alone in this? Lol  I think Adam being an Idol judge would be a massive *WIN-WIN* for him. Millions of people would see and hear him every week. That kind of exposure is invaluable. Think of all the new potential fans who could check out his music. The lingering hostile AMA persona could finally be overcome by his sense of humor, his intelligence, his musical knowledge, his graciousness and the performances that he would surely have. (I will see that finger at the end of his AMA performance till my dying day) Glad I knew him before that night. All of the above is a major way to "get back to the music." |
