She was not lip synching She cancelled due to vocal chord problems and peeps are telling her she should have lip synched I thought the assumption was that she cancelled to free up her schedule for Idol. She even implied something like fans would be happy when they find out why. Are they supposed to be happy that she is taking care of her voice? 2 completely different situations. She cancelled her appeaarance at the UK V Festival due to vocal chord problems. That was this past weekend. Back on Aug 1st, she cancelled her Sept/Oct tour and tweeted to her fans that it was for a big surprise. |

True, but there are signs that it may be heading that way. This was about the same time, two years ago, that Steven Tyler was reported to be a sure thing for the judging job. It's looking like there might be some truth to the NM rumors. I'm thinking they are going to put the young Disney Prince between Mariah and Nicki and hire a country dude to round out the panel. IMO, TPTB are trying to present a mash-up of the judging panels from The Voice and X Factor. |

I don't even know how to process this Idol news.. The music business just seems to be more
rap . I come from another era,when music was, well music.
I'm confused..
At this point,I can't see Adam being at the judge's table,somehow I
think he just has too much talent and too
much class.. JMHO
Maybe I just can't keep up with the times.. :-/

In anticipation of the new single, let's discuss "What kind of song will resonate with the general public ?"Please think about it and respond to the questions: 1) What song do you think resonates with the public well? Pick the one that you know, the more recent the better, it doesn't have to be the one that you love. 2) Rank how much you love the song from 1 to 10 with 1=Hate it and 10 = Love it. 3) Why do think this song can connect with that many people? List as many reasons as you can think of. 4) Which song from Trespassing do you think will best resonate with the public? If possible explain why. I will collect the answers and we will see what the results look like. It might be interesting if there are many responses. Idol probably feels like they have all bases covered. Pharrel really doesn't have a spot with NM there. |

If Adam has any kind of role, doesn't look like it's on the judging panel.....I wanna know what he's got scheduled for September!

I didn't get what Adam was saying that made Brian laugh, just before throwing the shirt back (I guess I'm "tough crowd" too ;D). Does anyone know? I'm curious...
