I don't have a strong opinion either way but all the people 100% convinced is scary, imagining all the doom and gloom the day the lineup is announced if he's not in. I feel like the fandom will take it in stride. Sure, it might be gloom for a day or two and then on to the next exciting Adam venture. 8-) |

I must take back what I said a few days ago about organized twitter trends not working (i meant it's hard to make things trend by a plan)...I was thinking of when Nick Jonas tried to make a trend of him on idol and it failed.......I underestimate the glamberts sometimes and forget they can trend anything when it comes to Adam LOL sorry lifetraveler ;D |

Firmly back in the "Adam is going to be a judge team". If it doesn't happen, this ever so enthusiastic fan base will move on to supporting the new single and all the fun things that will bring. I will be with them and will not be licking any wounds. Adam will be fine too.
For me, this Idol speculation has been super fun with so many great highs and lows that just thinking about it kept me from ever being bored for several weeks. Loved it!
On another matter, I contacted the CEO of RCA and he sent me a portion of his press release.

Adam is in? Adam is out? Adam is still in the running? I have no idea at this point. But, we DO know that Adam has been considered. He has talked with Idol about the possibility. THAT IS HUGE!
I know we scratch our heads at the other names mentioned, but, folks, Adam is on a very exclusive list, none the less. Think of all the other Idol contestants and winners. We have heard nothing about any of them being considered. Like Simon giving him a standing ovation, or Adam returning to be a mentor, this is a singular honor earned by Adam and no one else from Idol.
Then there is the fact that the response to the idea of Adam being a judge has been overwhelmingly positive. Has there been any news coverage that said it was a bad idea? That asked WHY they would even consider Adam? And the polls I have seen have all put Adam in the lead based on readers' votes.
Regardless of the outcome, Adam has, once again, gained more visibility and credibility from the rumors. Plus, I think he must feel flattered and proud to be contacted by Idol and in talks with them. He's come a LONG WAY from four years ago when Simon didn't want to put him thru the auditions because he was theatrical and not current. From when he was on stage, in the chorus, in the back, with a top hat, unsure that anyone could even hear or see him. I am very happy for him.

I do not want any phony sympathy, if it doesn't happen.
In fact, I would be insulted that you would think I am so weak.
