Doing the happy dance! Ha ha......I don't have to get stuck watching Idol this year! I can't believe some not only want Adam as a judge but actually think there is secret hidden meanings in his tweets and interviews. He's not going to be a judge (thank all the powers to be). Sorry, but Adam needs to promote his new single and try and distance himself a bit from the show. Not sit on the judges panel. I have to say I so badly didn't want to watch it that I wasn't going to even if Adam was a judge. It's not worth it to me to be tied to a tv set two nights a week.
Okay, I just said this up thread, "I don't think anybody on this board can be CERTAIN about anything unless it's coming from the horse's mouth! In Adam's case, the Unicorn's! Now, I must amend that statement with "except itskarma!"  ;D

Sometimes, I felt like squishing you like a cute little Beanie Baby; other times, shaking you upside down like a cute little Beanie Baby! But, you got to excuse our attempts at deciphering Adam's encrypted messages, 'cuz he did clearly state that there were stuff in the works that he had made promises not to disclose till the right time, and Idol or not, he's sooo itchy to share with the world!

He has that signing though. It is 4-5 and I'll bet it starts late. Not sure he could make that. Regardless, he will be back Monday. I am sure of it! And the Idol announcement on Monday afternoon ;D Don't see that Mebourne flight on Expedia, but if there is one, that make it about a 28 hour flight (with connections.) Can't seen him doing that when he can take a nonstop, the next morning, right from Sydney. |

No, he has a Sunday gig. He will most likely fly back Monday and arrive Monday! The latest he can arrive is 10:30 a.mm. Pacific Time. All the Sydney to LAX flights are early flights. ETA: How can they announce Randy as coming back when he was never announced as leaving?! Most media sights have not even considered that Randy would be gone! That Sunday gig is in Melbourne right? There's a Qantas flying from Melbourne at 7pm and arrived in LAX at 6.35am. He could fly out Monday morning and would get back in LA on Monday morning. 14.5 hour flight, -17 hours in times zones, you land 2.5 hours before you took off. Depart 11:00AM -- arrive 8:30AM on the same day. |

There are a handful of dates -- most could easily be cancelled. You do not need to be able to sing to be an Idol judge -- Simon, Paula, Randy, Ellen, Kara could not sing very well (or at all). I do not know if Enrique has cred, but he is very popular. The highest selling Latin artist in the past 20 years. He has a $50 million contract with Universal, is popular with US Hispanics and across Latin America. He has 2 Billboard Hot 100 #1 hits, a total of 68 BBoard #1 hits, sold 55 million records worldwide. Billboard named him the number two Latin artist of the years 1986–2011. There are over 50 million Hispanics in the US with a total of over $1 trillion in buying power. If they were a country, US Hispanics would be the 12th largest economy in the world. Idol needs ratings, and they need to sell ads. Seem like Enrique would be an attractive addition to the show when it comes to the advertisers. I don't think it's easy for him to cancel his concert because he is touring with JLo. So it's not merely paying the deposits to the venuew they booked if he wants to cancel, there is something else he has to deal with JLo as well. It's not as simple as NM's case. Sorry to but in and I haven't finished reading all the thread yet, but the Europe concerts are not on Enrique's official page. They are on the wikipedia page that was linked here, but not his official page: www.enriqueiglesias.com/events. Not sure what's going on. Could be that his wiki page has not been updated yet and he did pull out of these European dates? Or else his official schedule is not updated? Not sure |

Pretty sure that Randy is coming back -- but my money is on the mentor role. And that would fulfill the TMZ teaser. HUGE COMEBACK? Randy? Randy does not fulfill the statement that someone is making a HUGE COMEBACK And comeback indicates that it is someone who has been away--hence, coming back. |
