Don't think theses dates will conflict with idol.

Glee has covered hundreds of songs and the overwhelming majority of them do not go on to become hits of any kind, nor does it break new songs onto the charts for any amount of time to matter. Mainstream radio picked up on the Gotye song from its iTunes placement and the fact that it was #1 on Alt. Rock stations- it had nothing to do with Glee. We Are Young was also a big hit on Alt. Rock and crossed over from there. We are Young is the only "new song" by an unknown artist to be performed on Glee. The show gave a nice sized bump to the Fun song, but not enough to matter for long. The BIG factor was the Superbowl commercial. After that, the song stayed at #1 or in the top 3 on iTunes for weeks, so radio had to pay attention to it. By the time Glee did STIYTK, it was already a big hit and high on iTunes. The week Glee covered it, P2 performed it in a duet on Idol and Gotye was on SNL. It was the perfect storm! The long term benefits of Adam being on TV for 4-6 hours a week on the #1 rated show in the US far outweighs a solitary performance by a group of kids on a show that covers hundreds of songs a year. Night crew, what do you think about Gotye's and fun. 's songs? Why many people buy these songs? Which Adam's song has the potential to connect to that many people? I'll be darned if I know why. He is 'goatboy' in my mind because I really dislike his voice. I watched 'gb' on SNL, and when he sang the second time, I turned off the tv in the middle of it. I had never heard such ugly, discordant music! (It ties with some of Scott Walker's later innovative music which actually hurt my ears!) Needless to say, I don't understand why peeps like him, and I really don't understand why everyone isn't listening to everything Adam sings. Fun's 1st song was catchy, but I don't care for their sound. It sounds 'sloppy' to me.

www.imdb.com/media/rm2239535872/nm0005040Here is a photo of Enrique with his arm around Boy George. I don't know a lot about Enrique but he is clearly not afraid to touch another man, even a gay man. That is kind of nice. I'm sure Adam would not be afraid to put his arm around Boy George either. It is nice that there are men in this world that aren't "scared of the gay guy"! Adam has met a lot of guys, even celebrities and has a lot of friends that aren't scared to put their arm around him. I agree- kind of nice.

I was wondering if JT has ever spoken about Adam? Didn't they meet once? Just catching up -- and this may have been answered -- but yes they have met on more than one occasion. Here is their first meeting -- at a SAG Awards after party: www.peoplestylewatch.com/people/stylewatch/package/gallery/0,,20332854_20339054,00.html Jan 2010.

C'mon guys, statements like "spanish men are oversexed" or spanish men think they are gods gift to women are just plain racist.
We go on and on about not stereotyping gay men or women, can we stop with the casual racism?
