Tigerlily: I meant nipping the idol judge rumor in the butt. I don't think he is gaining from having it out there, hence my question.
Any bi rumor is one of those that unfortunately can never be nipped in the butt. Those that believe it, will continue to do so, in spite of all denial and so it goes on for ever. The only way forward is to for societies to be less adverse to LGBT in general and to de-sensationalize the topic. Good luck asking the media for the latter.

IDK His very recent follows of AI and MC are TOO specific to be random follows, at least to me. He certainly knows that (only his OG Glamberts) are watching and analyzing every bit of info, every sign. He knows that. All the other people won't even notice who he follows. I believe he's telling his OG Glamberts "I got this" . ...or that the follow was a response to his being up for the job. The only thing he's told us, through actions and words, is that he has a shot, and wants the job. The assumption that he has it is reading too much into everything he says and does.

Enrique is european. A latino is from anywhere in South America. Anyway or the other, it should not care, just as the fact that Adam is gay.

Truth be told, I waver between...he has it...and...nope he doesn't have it. Peeps keep saying that he is so happy lately. Well, the Adam we see is generally a sunny, happy person anyway. I don't know. I want him to have it so badly because he wants it. The potential benefits go far beyond the money offered. And selfishly, I want to see him on my TV for two hours twice a week for a few months. Keeping everything crossed!!!! 8-)

Why would Idol prefer a Latino rather than a Rock representative? Replacement for Jlo. Enrique is Pop. Who is rock? That is what I mean. If Idol goes by genre, they've got: Mariah = Pop/R&B Nicky = Rap/Pop Keith = Country if they pick Adam = Pop/Rock if they pick Enrique = Latin American<- why do they prefer to go by ethnic than genre here?

Still optimistic! However, I do think Adam probably knew about the Dallas concert mid-summer. This isn't just a small in-studio thing. It's at the Verizon Center, right? An arena radio concert. These things are scheduled months ahead of time. I think so too, bullsfan. In fact, we could probably pick apart a lot of the clues as wishful thinking or extrapolation (as AL said about the Queen twitter questiion, "you're projecting"). Sometimes we build the rollercoaster ourselves. And sometimes I'm in the mood to ride it and shout, wheeee!; other times not. It sure can be fun and there have been many late nights when I'm avoiding work sitting in front of my computer with tears of laughter streaming down my face because the people on this board are so clever and often absolutely hilarious when riffing back and forth. But I'm most curious about the deletion of the AI comment during the Ambien Twitter party (speaking of hilarious). Why did he delete that one comment, which wasn't objectionable, unless he wanted to make sure he wasn't stringing his fandom along, the way we feel the producers are stringing *him* along? He has tons of respect for his fans. And we know AI execs don't care if they are leaving someone hanging (if they are indeed doing that). They are in it to make money and create buzz. Anyway, hope I'm not being a Captain Bringdown, but sometimes logic rules for me. I think that tweet was the opposite of a string along. I took it as very negative because he was saying he did not know and was tense about it. It did not get my hopes up in any way.

Well, just the fact that he picked it to answer when he didn't have to, and that as far as he knew, he was still being considered--i.e., he hadn't been told otherwise. But then maybe he *was* told in the interim and for that reason quietly (or not so quietly) removed it.

When he started following AI we had already read interviews from Aus confirming that "Yes, he has been in talks with AI' . I don't see why he had to follow AI to show us that he has being up for the job That's my opinion *shrug*

So most of us think all the judges will be leaked next week, which means the decision has to be made this week or early next week. In the worst case, if Adam doesn't get the job, do you think he will send out some kind of signals to us? If he will, what kind of signal do you think it will be?
