They def WILL NOT WAIT till next year for the next single. It will be either Trespassing or Cuckoo, and it will be released before the PLL episode on Oct. 23. IMO Adam has had a rough time on radio, though. Maroon 5 and JLo waited till they were a couple of months into their shows to release singles. Better safe than sorry. If he gets the gig he's set. Why hurry? |

TMZ 40 minutes ago! Keith Urban is in deep negotiations with "American Idol" but the deal has NOT been signed ... TMZ has learned. "Idol" sources tell us, the country singer is in the final negotiation stages with producers to take the third judging spot on the show -- alongside Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, who replaced Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. Keith will be replacing Randy Jackson -- but he hasn't officially signed the dotted line just yet. He's still working out a few contract kinks, but it's pretty much a lock. He'll be receiving roughly $3-4 million for his hard work -- about half what Nicki Minaj is expected to make ... and a paltry fraction of Mariah's $18 million paycheck. As we previously reported, there will be a 4th judge this season, but we're told no one has been picked for that spot. But here's what we do know ... "Idol" honchos want a man for the 4th spot, because they don 't think this show will work with 2 women and a man. It is a reference to a Steven Spielberg film, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, in which the main character uses a pile of mash potatoes to construct a mountain that was his location of destiny. It is used as a symbol of prognosticating the future. gonna have to look that one up "prognasticating" So, are yall saying that the mashed potatoes are a symbol of the destiny of going to the mountain? And, in what context are you relating that to Adam? Are you saying it is Adam's destiny to be a judge on AI? Or, are you relating it to the feelings we all have of being "called" to follow Adam? Need further explanation, please! And, although very funny, the mashed potato vending machine is really icky!!!!! |
