Looks like I was reading the same item I'm not sure which press you are talking about? There was one article from The Hollywood Reporter that said AI was looking at him (which all the other news agencies cut and paste) and then there was the New York Post article that said he wasn't interested and wanted a private life. In my mind they kind of cancel each other out. I'm putting Enrique and Adam at a dead heat. Looks like I have been reading rehashed items like they were new. I'll have to watch this. After hearing about Enrique's need for privacy, I am giving the edge to Adam. You have to watch really closely now a days.. even CNN will report hearsay that other news agencies 'print'. Usually the language used is a dead give away.

They rehash one source over and over, making it look like ten different sources are confirming! When in reality, they are just all copying from one!

A little OT but interesting-- For those who are curious about our women at Burning Man, and what they are experiencing, you can watch the action at BM 24 hours a day at "Camp Envy" (otherwise known as a livestream camera). Since I couldn't go, I have been at Camp Envy for an hour or two every day and it's cool. So go and get a taste of the playa and see what our folks are up to... www.ustream.tv/burningman

Can't embed any vids except YT on this board. PUHLEEZ...other than the odd time you can find Adam in there, that is utterly painful! The Soprano is horrible and the Alto is not much better...Adam is singing Bari here so is often hard to find....the Base is pretty sad too....yikes... .let's not post this again, ok? My ears are just not up to that... but your point re the applause is well made I didn't post because I thought it was good. I posted because it was Adam singing "Blue Moon". It fit the theme of the day. Critical comments of posts and posters is the reason I took a break from Atop. I guess that hasn't changed.

I remember watching the livestream a lot last year. All the diverse humanity gathered there in the desert sand creating, experiencing, and enjoying a unique sense of community. I find it fascinating! Yay for the Atops who are there!

OK, finally delurking. Only found you guys a few months ago. Had expected the Idol thing to be settled by now. However, what I think has happened is that at least one of the producers assured Adam that he would have a place at the table. Since there now seems to be some infighting among the producers, it may be that the one (or more) originally backing him have lost some pull. Since some of you are knowledgeable about the "show-biz" process, could this be the cause of the uncertainty (and stress) relayed by Adam's deleted jet-lag tweet?

I think we need a "I'm being snarky and sardonically sarcastic" smiley. I didn't read this as a criticism of the post or the poster. Maybe because that clip also makes me cringe and run for ear bleach. Yeah, not good. But very interesting from a historical viewpoint. Just not one of Adam's songs I will add to my iPod. And, it does fit in with the "Blue Moon" theme today. It's all in good spirits, ya'll.
