OK, finally delurking. Only found you guys a few months ago. Had expected the Idol thing to be settled by now. However, what I think has happened is that at least one of the producers assured Adam that he would have a place at the table. Since there now seems to be some infighting among the producers, it may be that the one (or more) originally backing him have lost some pull. Since some of you are knowledgeable about the "show-biz" process, could this be the cause of the uncertainty (and stress) relayed by Adam's deleted jet-lag tweet? WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to answer your question, IMO, "No." I think the delay has always beeen them wanting Brad Paisley bad. And now they are finalizing the Urban deal. I don't believe for one minute that all 4 of the judges are not set already!! But, there are many who disagree with me!

I really liked this pic, so I thought I'd share another one: Adam was reaching for his ear monitor. I think. Can't imagine why you like this pic so much! Damn, sexy man!

Aþ@jam2885 “EWTimStack: 'American Idol' judges update: Who's in, who's out insidetv.ew.com/2012/08/31/randy-jackson-idol/ v#” oh hey finally an Adam mention! The third spot, sources say, is most likely going to Australian country music star Keith Urban. The top runner-up for his spot (or, if Fox and producers decide to go full throttle, for a fourth spot) is Spanish singer-songerwriter Enrique Iglesias. And, hanging in there with an outside chance, Idol veteran Adam Lambert is still in the mix. Fox and producers Freemantle Media wouldn’t comment on the judges speculation. Idol creator and executive producer Simon Fuller likewise had no comment, yet assures that some exciting casting news about Idol will be coming soon. “There will be several positive announcements to follow shortly,” Fuller told EW in a statement. “American Idol is moving up a gear and with the help and commitment from Fox, who are more intimately involved and supportive this season than ever before, we are looking forward to a dynamic new season ahead.”

The story about Enrique not wanting to have his privacy invaded which would be the result of being on Idol rang true to me. I wonder if others fee that this is probable, and thus he is essentially out. Is Adam now maybe the last man left standing?
