Is that how you see it? Adam as 2nd string? I think the article say if Fox wants full throttle, they will go Enrique way and if they choose other way then it will be Adam. I am confused there. The way I interpret it is: if there are 3 judges, the first choice for the 3rd position is Keith, and the 2nd choice is Enrique. If Idol goes for 4 judges, the first choice will be Enrique and Adam hangs around just in case someone doesn't take the offer. I don't like the way they word it either. That's how I read it also....and I didn't like it either. But we know that if Adam gets the job, Idol will spin it in the best possible way - "Adam was the chosen one all along and it was a deliberate decision to keep him a surprise". (At least I hope that's how they'll spin it). |

With Idol they have a great angle. Former contestant, international star, the glue for the panel....Am not liking it that he is portrayed as the second string though. Is that how you see it? It's just all parrt of negotiations and the Idol machine PR hype. I, personally, don't think Enrique was never in the mix. Like I said, Idol will do PR so it seems like the 4 chosen ones are the ones they always wanted and that they are the 4 most amazing people in the world! ;D

Is it Tuesday yet? This has got to be over with....It's killing us... Will he or won't he? I'm still #teamIbelieve and have never wavered. Mys*&@^#r and SuzieFierce have presented their arguments well. I think Q3 wants us to prepared for if he doesn't get it. But this Enrique crinkle had me a little hesitant, but now that he supposedly doesn't want his private life exposed, Adam is in!!! I think you have put me in the wrong column. I am on Team #Ibelieve and have been there for weeks. But that does not mean that I believe he has the job, got it in July and is just not telling us. I think that the decision is not made yet BUT in the end it will be ADAM. And I may be completely wrong. And the Idol/FOX braintrust will make a big mistake. |
