Because in my opinion. HE IS NOT WORRIED. He KNOWS the outcome. He has known it all along. I won't say more until the announcements are made but yeah, when they are, I will not hold back. When the announcement IS made, I fully expect you and m ys*&@^#r to do your "I told ya so's" and you'll be perfectly justified! ;D I won't! Just every post I make will be this guy>> ;D

Enrique said he wouldn't be a good judge at around 2:30. This was back in July, not sure if he changes his mind now when Idol offers him the job. Hope idol is smart enough to pick the right person. Enrique starts to annoy me. 0 points to Enrique 100 points to Adam

Stuck in Friday before three day weekend traffic today on my way home and listening to Trespassing. One of my favorites is Pop that Lock, and I always think he singing "Work bitch, you don't gotta stress this, God I'm feeling restless Show'em how it's done. SEACREST don't care if you don't keep it don't care if you leak it ...." I wish Seacrest WOULD leak something!

Okay, suspending all disbelief, I just have to ask people one question. If you were in Adam's place, AND you were truly in limbo for the job of your life, that could result in a million $$ plus paycheck and the turning point of your career and everything you've worked for, would you REALLY be able to be all zen about it? Really?
Who among us hasn't gone after our dream job?
Who among us hasn't come a little bit close?
How did you feel at the time?
Were you not climbing the walls?
If a few days turned into a week, turned into two, three or four, were you not a complete emotional wreck? (If you hadn't given up on it entirely). Job hunting is an emotional and mental head game (sorry, young posters and lurkers, but it's true). Now, I put on Adam on a pedestal way more than is healthy, I totally agree. Even when he's flawed, he does no wrong in my eyes, but seriously, I cannot believe even he has the ability to not let onto his emotional distress if he TRULY did not know anything at this point.
If he had been led on. If he had put potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in one-offs on hold. If he had told his band and backups that they couldn't work this month. His crucial third single is put on hold. ALL ON A POSSIBILITY WITH NO GUARANTEE?? WHO COULD ENDURE THAT EMOTIONAL PRESSURE AND NOT BE A BASKET CASE???
Now, in Hollywood, of course there are films that you get cast for and are dream jobs that fall through. Entertainers know this. However, I think this is different. It's not like the financing on the project is going to let the bottom fall out.
Adam has been as giddy as anyone I've come across in my life for the past seven weeks or so. If this is all an act, well, hell, hand the boy an Oscar. There is Zen and there is ZEN, but I doubt even the Dali Lama could keep up his level of purity and enthusiasm without having some clue of his life's destiny (or even next week's schedule) at this point.
And I'll also mention ... Adam has taken only a handful of four-day vacations in the past three years (with the exception of his decompression time after GNT). Even when he and Sauli went to Bora Bora it was only four days. And Cabo. Do you REALLY think he would have no plan for six solid weeks at the potential turning point of his album promo?
