Sorry to dedge up yesterday's discussion, as I was away most of the day. But why was there any credence placed in Michael Orland's tweets? He doesn't even work for AI anymore, and hasn't for a year. So why was credence placed in his tweets re Adam and AI judgeship? Muttering to myself..... Where did you get the idea that he had left? He has been doing audition rounds this summer and tweeting about them regularly. He has never left AI. ETA: Maybe you are confusing him with Ricky Minor, the musical director who left 2 years ago? |

(Back when the Adam spam hit him.) Plus, in the EW article, they wrote that Nigel's first order of business was to get the judges locked down. He has some power in this. |

Thanks for calming me down about idol.. I just want Adam to be treated with respect. If he doesn't have it say so Idol and move on .. Geez I really don't like the Idol crew/fox,Nigel,etc. any more and will only watch if Adam is on for whatever. Hmm I don't think I've calmed down LOL  it is binary for me too: if they sign Adam I love them; if they don't I hate them ;D the waiting is taking the toll and I am leaning towards hating at the momentl... quite childish but in this world of escape from RL I can allow myself to be a child  just remember that Adam will be OK either way  This post might be better off on the Dark Side, but here goes. The outcomes from the two possible Idol decisions yes/no are not the same. Yes, Adam will be OK either way, but he would be OKer with the massive exposure Idol can bring. Adam knows this, and it is probably one of the main reasons why he wants to be a judge. We know it too, and that is the reason for the obsession and the angst. |

I have a long standing dislike for Nigel from SYTYCD.
I am prepared to like him less or more when the judges are announced, lol.

I actually think Adam wants this just because he genuinely likes the show and is very confident that he will be a good judge. He may not place heavily on the exposure that Idol can bring. I thought his management may. That thought comes to me from Adam's tweets related to the delay of the single announcement. I can't remember the exact words,and I can't retrieve these tweets from his feed any more. It seems he deleted them. But he said "ask RCA", "it's the record label's logistics" and that he pushed them, and he was stressing out waiting for AI to confirm. All of these made me feel like though he likes to be an AI judge, all the waiting game stressed him out and he pushed RCA to move forward with their single as if he didn't care about the possible AI exposure any more, but RCA wanted this deal so they insisted Adam to keep on waiting. In short, the management wants this more than Adam. |

The underlined part has become an issue. I just deleted 3 posts because the posters have said the exact same things more than once before. There was no new thought, no new information, no reason to post, except another chance to be negative about Adam. Just the same old "concern".
