Just two comments.
DEADLINE is not a gossip site, but an insider's show-biz site, like VARIETY. It is very business-oriented. So it's reporting is to be taken more seriously than E! or EW.
Secondly, Taylor Swift dating Adam would not be an impossibility (if Adam weren't in a relationship
with Sauli). How can I say this? Most of the guys Taylor has dated, or had "public relationships" with,
are "probably or possibly" gay. Most of Taylor's "relationships", at least in the past, have been about generating publicity for her and the guys. This is nothing new in show biz. Maybe no one here is old enough to remember when the fan magazines were filled with stories about Natalie Wood and her romances with Tab Hunter and Anthony Perkins. So if Adam were not so honest, maybe a public affair with Taylor Swift would not be out of the question.

I think it goes in cycles, for example during QAL Atop was about as joyous as a place could be. Lately, because of Idol which would have been so huge for his career the worry was understandably increased. Those were both extreme circumstances, and we should settle down to a good balance, but I personally like to feel free to express concern about something like radio adds for example, without feeling guilty about expressing that concern. I just took break from Adamtopia because I've felt that my drama is not needed here. Seriously IMHO it was good decision for me and this forum. Sometimes it's better to take a step back than to worry for someone handsome, young, happy in love, with career far better than mine. Little perspective is a good thing. ^^^^ THIS.. :Clap: :Clap: |

You know the saying "It ain't over til the fat lady sings" until the OFFICIAL announcement comes out there is still a chance. I'm going to weigh in with my prediction and if I turn out to be wrong then 'cest la vie'. I think the panel will be Mariah, Pharrell, Adam and Keith and I think Adam and Pharrell have been signed for a while and it's really only the 4th spot that's been up for grabs. Not going to bore everyone with my reasoning just wanted to put it out there so that if by some miracle I happen to be right I can brag on my prediction skills. LOL I wouldn't be shocked if you're right, rihannsu. Much as I didn't originally like the idea of Adam on Idol (as has been said by others, it would boost his status as a celebrity but not necessarily as an artist) I've gotten caught up in the drama and excitement and it would be a let down if nothing big came of this. But somehow I doubt that a let down is imminent. Based on all the evidence, including what Adam has said, I just feel strongly that there will be some kind of a twist or surprise or major positive outcome to this whole drama. Of course, sometimes I'm really wrong about things, lol. (But sometimes I'm not). As for Adam on Idol, I am not a big fan of the show and I thought I would rather see him distance himself from it. And I was frankly surprised that he even wanted it. It's far from edgy. But the visibility really brings tremendous opportunities. And the other thing I've thought about it is this: Adam has so MUCH to offer in so many different areas. He's one of the most incredible performers as well as being an incomparable vocal artist, but his charisma and gifts extend so far beyond even those things. So the aspects of Idol that would allow him to talk, to respond in the moment with compassion and heart and wit and honesty, and to provide encouragement and mentoring to aspiring artists, would allow him to use some of those gifts in ways that I am sure he would love to do. I would think that the opportunity to have a steady job and paycheck in L.A., now that he's settled down somewhat, is also appealing. I don't want to set myself or anyone else up for disappointment, but I really do believe SOMETHING big is up. And it's likely to have something to do with Idol. But maybe not, lol.  OT p.s. So the aspects of Idol that would allow him to talk, to respond in the moment with compassion and heart and wit and honesty, and to provide encouragement and mentoring to aspiring artists, would allow him to use some of those gifts in ways that I am sure he would love to do. I am not usually one of the atopers who say "my English skills are not good enough" but of course English being my second language is a reason for not posting all that much. A post such as THIS ^^^ confirms that you guys do it better. I could never put my thoughts into such words. Thank you for doing it for me. This is one of the reasons why I love Atopia .... you give voice to my feelings.PS: I admire AleksandraKv, girl, where did you learn to write like that???? |
