Adam to play Carnegie Hall – then head out to Europe to start world tour #2!

As soon as he finishes recording his new album in May, Adam is slated to head out on his second world tour.

The tour kicks off with a special show at Carnegie Hall June 3, 2011. There is truly no greater place than Carnegie Hall to hear inspiring music performed by the greatest artists in the world. And now we can add Adam to that list.

This concert is scheduled for the 2,804 seat Isaac Stern Auditorium / Ronald O. Perelman Stage. The auditorium's renowned acoustics have made it a favorite of audiences and performers alike. "It has been said that the hall itself is an instrument," said the late Isaac Stern. "It takes what you do and makes it larger than life."

The set list for this show has not been released but a spokesperson for Carnegie Hall said that they were assured that the entire show would be appropriate for the setting.

The World Tour!

Time to start saving your money because this tour is going to be big! Big production, big cast, big lasers and pyro, big venues and a few new surprises. And tons of dates. We found out about one surprise yesterday when a Glamninja who works for a printing company leaked a copy of the tour’s 3-D holographic tickets! You read that correctly – it has a 3-D holo of Adam right on the ticket. (No one should ever think about tearing my ticket!)

Dates are unknown but Adam is expected to go across Europe – including Spain and Eastern Europe – then head off for Russia, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and South American. The finally Adam will end the tour with a 58 date North American tour.

ADAM JOINS WITH CAROLINA HARKER TO CREATE ROCK STAR CHIC

Adam will be actively involved with every detail of the fashion line. The pop-rock superstar is known for his distinct style and attention to detail.




Adam slated to record a duet with Gaga!

The rumors have been flying around for weeks and now I can confirm it’s true! Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga are going to record a duet. According to a source close to Lady Gaga, the song will be a heavy dance track with popping electronic beats.

Perez Hilton posted this on his blog, “Lady GaGa has decided that she had so much fun performing with a freakin' mariachi band at her 25th birthday party that she has invite Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez to accompany her and Glambert on their upcoming duet. EPIC! EPIC! EPIC! FIERCE! FIERCE! FIERCE!”

Now I am not sure if Perez is just playing with Adam fans or if a mariachi band will really be involved. But I am sure the duo are booked for a recording session. But this tweet from Adam certainly makes it seem like mariachis may be involved.



The recording session will be held at an undisclosed location and extra security is in place to keep the duo out of site of fans and paparazzi. My only hope is that the studio has great insurance and very high ceilings!



Two Aliens unite!

Adam Lambert and Kanye West go sci-fi in a music video for their joint track "Alien". The Glam Master transforms from an extraterrestrial creature to an otherworldly god with braided hair and colorful make-up while floating through the space. Meanwhile, the G.O.O.D Music rapper is dressed casually in jeans, T-shirt and leather jacket as he raps his verses inside an orb-like flying object.

Talking about getting his make-up done, Adam told MTV, "It was, like, five and six hours, each makeup look." He undergoes three different looks of her alien character. One sees him in red-blue-and-white make-up with an all-white ensemble, another has him in flaming-red look with a matching get-up, and the other features him wearing a gold breastplate.

"It was hard for me! It was really a patience thing for me on this video," he said of the challenge in going through the extensive makeup process. "But, you know, it's like when you're doing a film. Sometimes you have to do prosthetics, and you have to get really old or turn into an animal or a monster - and that's kind of what this process was."

"Alien" is taken from Lambert's 2011 summer effort "Dreamer". The song actually is a solo track, but adds Kanye West's verses to the radio's version. The revamped tune is currently sitting at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100.



New Glamtastic Ben and Jerry’s flavor being released in June!

The battle for pop music supremacy now moves to the ice-cream aisle. On the heels of Katy Perry’s "Teenage Dream" comes a new musically-inspired ice cream flavor from Ben & Jerry's. That's right; in conjunction with the start of Adam Lambert second world tour, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield have created "Glambert-luscious," a premium ice cream complete with Adam's mug on the lid. Here's how it rates:

The Claims: Ben & Jerry's Glambert-luscious is dark chocolate ice cream with a salty caramel swirl and fabulous glitterier clusters in gold, platinum and copper. It’s almost too beautiful to eat but it really does taste better than it look!

The Verdict: Grade A.+

In a first for Ben & Jerrys, stores around the world are getting requests from hungry Glambert trying to get an advance taste and preorder their ice cream supply. Interest in the new flavor is so strong that Ben & Jerry are considering launching another Lambert frozen treat: The Adam pop!



Adam likely to be making TV appearances soon

The date for the Kimmel appearance hasn’t been released yet.
An ABC News spokesperson, acknowledged it was probably the wrong decision to block Lambert from being booked on the show for over a year. When I contacted the organization Thursday evening to ask them to respond to my disappointment that this took so long, an ABC spokesman owned up. He frankly explained that the network execs had overreacted. “Looking back on this, we should have had him on a live show months ago,” acknowledged the spokesperson.
