We need more "Adam" smilies! Q3 - can they become an automatic option, as the others are...... JS!  I will work on that this weekend -- gotta fix our smileys! Also have a few other things to do round here. |

OT but - Whoa!!!! Just heard the A's opening night vs The Mariners Jet "fly-over", fly over my house! Ran out too late to see them - Man, they're fast!!! Reminds me of seeing these guys, while on the Marina Green, during "Fleet Week" ~   ;D (Check out all the people on the roof of Alcatraz!! I've been there several times - when our company installed all the fire sprinkler systems there several years ago & a couple of times as a tourist - They don't let people on the roof!! I guess they're special! & what a view you get to watch from - the Blue Angels "fly / show zone" is between The Golden Gate Bridge & Alcatraz!) I used to work on the 31st floor of Embarcadero 4, and THAT was an incredible view, as the jets flew right by our windows!!!! Exciting! |

I have finally finished traveling. 1650 miles with 2 dogs along for the ride. Internet is working, \o/. Log into Adamtopia and 31 Pages!!!! What happened today? ;D ;D ;D And don't tell me it is more "drunk" stories Well, tinafea, I got here late, read Q3's predictions for Adam's year (which will all happen BTW and we are very excited). Next thing I know, hoppers is offering me some of that imitation buttered popcorn of hers and I end up on page 25. ( That was SOME popcorn..thx, hoppers! ) It's been a blast since then. Mika's got a harem but cayman doesn't wanna share :-/ quietlion is deciding whether to not post or get electrocuted cause she spilled tea on her keyboard. She goes for the latter. If it's true that Kris is doing some interviews for Adam's BTM then it's prolly a smart idea I guess. I mean it's not like the guy gets alot of promo esp now that he is inbetween albums. It is a tad odd, considering he was the winner and he would essentially be a guest on a show about the dude who was the runner up, but guess it's better than nothing. I like Kris, I do, but some of these Idols really need to take lessons in how to take their promotion into their own hands and make the buzz happen bc alot of the times 19E is one big fat fail. What Adam has been able to do really well, something that no Idol to my recognition so far has been able to do, is be his own PR man and keep his name constantly in the media and in people's minds, even when he isn't pimping any music or projects at the time. That's what it takes to be a bonafide star these days. Oh well. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Yeah, probably all that. If true he would essentially be in the position of "gushing" about the guy he beat. I like him Ok too. How'd you like to go along known as the guy that beat Adam Lambert in a singing contest. BTM isn't necessarily "gushing" per se. Who better to speak about Adam's journey on AI than the guy who went through the ENTIRE journey with him? Kris was in his group to get into the top 12, he was his roommate in the house and he was in the finals with him. They were side by side the whole season so no one, IMO, would have a better perspective on how Adam made it through Idol than Kris and other than Allison, Kris has the least to be bitter about because he does have a career while the others don't. My opinion of Kris has ebbed and flowed. I liked him, I shipped them, then I thought he was a douche and now I'm back to liking him again and thinking he and Adam formed a bond that few can ever understand. I don't think they are besties but Kris never wanted a career like Adam's so I don't see Kris seeing it as a slap in the face to talk about his friend for a special about the road that took him to stardom. Remember Kris was 23 and hadn't "really" been trying for a career whereas Adam was 27 and had been working towards this for 10 years. I'd assume there will be Zodiac, Wicked, AI and various other people from Adam's past to talk about how he worked his ass off to get where he is. Lindy... that video was amazing. Thank you for sharing it. |
