Adam isn't a composer. He doesn't play musical instruments, read music or write music. That doesn't mean Adam doesn't have basic knowledge and can sightread for vocal parts or that he doesn't contribute to the creative process. Adam explained the song writing process for TSP on several occasions and explained that the music was already there (the melody and general song was there) and the group of writers would listen to the music and start throwing out ideas for themes depending on how the music made them feel. Now, TSP could have been different, but with Pharrell being the producer and a composer- I'm sure he did a great deal of the actual composing and I'm also sure Adam contributed in any way possible. The interviews I saw Adam explained that they would start with a beat and a chord progression. That is nowhere near a completed song. If you haven't seen it before, watch what songs can be composed using a basic 4 chord progression. Adam has said that he and the collaborators then sing improvisations and come up with a melody they like, come up with lyrics. I would say that Adam is very much a co-composer, regardless of whether he plays an instrument or reads music. They use this video in DDs music theory classes to point out that this video is a misrepresentation. Apparently, most current songs from any popular genre (country, alt. rock, pop, etc.) follow this chord pattern because it is what sounds right to the ear. Some bands like Coldplay stray from this and still remain popular, but they are a rarity. I guess genres like Jazz and Classical are ones that can stray from the most basic chord progressions and still get away with sounding right to the ears of the general public. If I remember correctly, Rock uses this particular progression and one other successfully. It's all quite fascinating, but it does show that a monkey could come up with the basic chord progression for a pop or country song, because it is this one that is used in the majority of songs in these genres. There is so much more to constructing a song than this basic skeleton though.

That shirt looks so odd. Do you think he has cut the sleeves off a dress shirt and sewn short black sleeves on?

Yep! 2 random people added that to their tweets last night! In 3 years, I do not remember anyone doing that! Now 2 in one night! WTF! yup. Trying to process and going in the real loop the loop...: However- why would he say something to random people in a bar? . Logically he could only say that he is waiting and they are tweeting the hashtag as a "wish" . I thought there's a picture of this guy @idonivron with Adam and Eden Spinosa on her concert that night? And Eden is Adam's friend from Wicked

How could Adam have won parts in musicals, including Brigadoon, if he cannot read music. I am sure he reads music. Who doesn't? If you have anything to do with music in any shape - you read music. May be he doesn't like singing off of a sheet of music.... ( I know Neil (?) said that Adam doesn't read music - but there is no way in hell this is true...)

Look at that woman's smile and body language! lol I don't care what anybody says, I LOVE the short-sleeved shirt with bow-tie especially with the black and white creepers. And yes, she looks like she wants to eat him up but she will just have to wait in line.
