I see that there is a rumor of Adam walking the runway? I hope it is not true... something feels very wrong with it... almost demeaning.... I can't see him doing that at all.... :-/ We'll, hopefully, see whether he walks, in about an hour. I think most non-models would consider it an honor to be asked to walk the runway. It says that the the designer thinks they will add beauty to their creations. I can't see anything demeaning about it. |

I am tying this to Adam through Nigel Lithgoe and Fox and judging...yada yada yada But seriously, SYTYCD has dropped all pretence of realistic judging this year too...perhaps this is the fate of all these reality talent shows...they start off with noble intentions and then get completely corrupted by the money. They have their 'version' of Durbin in a young man called Cyrus...he is untrained but exuberant and they praise really mediocre moves from him while good, trained dancers get voted out. GRRRR for some time, I really thought this show was 'different' in that respect but ...not... But Nigel says over and over during the auditions and during the performance shows that SYTYCD is not about the best dancer, but rather "America's Favorite Dancer" ... and they continually critique the dancers who don't seem to be connecting with their audience, even tho' they may be technically brilliant ... and Cyrus seems to be getting the votes, he has not been at the bottom yet. The judges keep trying to save the best technical dancers, but in the end it is the voters that decide. |

I know...so weird! You can only tweet the days they say, so missing this opportunity for some Adam love and promo would be a shame. Demi and Selena fans seem to be mobilized. :-/ I quickly counted 15 tweets during the last 30 mins - there were more about an hour and a half ago. It's going to be hard slogging to get past the 4500 comments already on Facebook since the question was posed just 3 hours ago. I have a feeling the Facebook suggestions will carry more weight than tweets. I would also mention that it's always helpful to say why we should go somewhere and read/do something and not just post the tweet without more input from you the poster. When I"m trying to skim fast I need a reason to click on a link. |
